The readings are drawn from three sources; Roy Heath’s first novel (A Man Come Home), Ameena Gafoor’s commentary (Aftermath of Empire) and Martin Carter’s poems and prose.

GOLD MINING: Secret contract…Govt. /Aurora tied to secrecy + Massive Concessions

May 23, 2021 – Kaieteur News – The contract that was signed in 2011 between Canadian company Guyana Goldfields Limited and the Guyana government provides that all information and data to be had, in pursuit of the project, would be jointly owned by the parties and would be kept confidential.

This provision not only obtains during the life of the agreement and mines operations, but would hold effect for up to two years after the end of its time in Guyana under the agreement.    Continue reading →
