The political leadership of the Caribbean lacks the moral right to be critical of the administrators of cricket in the Caribbean. They should stay clear of getting involved in the administration of cricket. They should leave it as a private enterprise.
Politics and cricket are like oil and water. The two have never mixed well and should never be mixed. Politics will summon the death warrant for West Indies cricket, which is already half-dead, not because of the administrators of cricket, but because of the historic lack of support for cricket and the poisonous role of politics in cricket. Read, dance, pray, sing, love, laugh, eat, celebrate and appreciate. And yes, you are allowed to worry because positive worry is good. We all want to be happy. We resent being thrown off our axis. Our everyday existence is a search for happiness. Our consciousness is bombarded with wants, desires, information and materialism that we often lose our sense of balance.
The world is trying to throw you off balance and events are conspiring to make your life miserable. It is time for new beginnings. The moment is ripe for a life of balance where peace of mind will help us to reach our true potential. It is simpler than it seems. The idea is to realize that material objects alone cannot bring about this balance. We need spiritual and emotional wellness to connect with our inner selves and to create the conditions for a balanced life.
The Guyana Agency for Development Affairs had an Easter Event in Trinidad, on August Monday 2017. Guyanese from all walks of life were invited to a day of fun. Everyone who attended had a truly good time. There were lots of Guyanese foods and drinks added to the celebration.
There was also Athletics for all ages and kite flying for the whole family. Not forgetting bouncy castle playground which keep the children occupied while the parents and guardians had a chance to enjoy themselves. The maypole plating was a bit of chaos, the women who were in the circle forgot how it was done. It was hilarious but they all enjoyed themselves.

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti, Apr 14 2017 (AP) — The Haitian girl known Victim No. 1 was 12 when she first had sex with a Sri Lankan peacekeeper. She says she didn’t even have breasts yet.
The boy, known as Victim No. 9, was 15 when his ordeal began. Over the course of three years, he said he had sex with more than 100 Sri Lankan peacekeepers, averaging about four a day.
From 2004 to 2007, nine Haitian children were exploited by a child sex ring involving at least 134 Sri Lankan peacekeepers, according to a U.N. report obtained by The Associated Press. Continue reading →
