Buxton NGSA Achievement Award Presentation and Backpack Distribution + Newsletter


Tipperary Hall- Buxton

We are pleased to share with you the video presentation of the ceremony, which took place at Tipperary Hall on 25 November (Thanksgiving Day). Seven laptop computers valued almost US $5,000, five bursary awards totaling GY$400,000 and 125 backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed to the students who will commence their secondary education next January.

Help us continue to provide aid and resources for our youths in Buxton/Friendship Guyana to obtain a sound education and skills training, so that they can be better prepared for the country’s emerging economic opportunities.     Happy 2022 to all. I am proud to say that I was a regular visitor to this building while it was under construction by a team of BUXTONIAN CONSTRUCTION WORKERS. I promoted the development on the VCT TV Evening NEWS.
