bring joy to kids in Joint ‘Toy Giveaway’ in Brooklyn New York
Guyanese in the Diaspora Inc., (GID) based in Brooklyn, New York, USA, in collaboration with St. Rose’s Alumni Association USA Inc., (SRAA) held a successful joint toy giveaway on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Brooklyn, New York.
The toys were donated by the Toys for Tots Foundation, whose mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys during the year, and distribute them at Christmas time to needy children in our community. The stated goal is to deliver, through brand new toys at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate boys and girls that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, and patriotic citizens.
