Ordinary people also have seen the videos, heard the stories and reached the same conclusion — one that might seem absurd to Americans but is widely believed among Iraqis — that the United States is supporting the Islamic State for a variety of pernicious reasons that have to do with asserting American control over Iraq, the wider Middle East and, perhaps, its oil.

The British just as guilty during before and after its “empiral” days. All is revealed under FOI
(freedom of information) law….however under “international” law and unless over 50+ years
there is no such “obligation” …..will Google just to establish how far back FOI is obligatory
and can be requested/ enforced.

Here is where I really learn British History…….things like how Churchill mother got him into military school and his father dying from ? disease. There are no secrets in British history if you know where to look.
Under FOI law most of WW2 secrets over 50+ years are subject to disclosure on request.
Two channels on UK TV now cover that area for public viewing.

Its sad if anyone seriously believe Gigi information, such as, ‘
“US is in cahoot with ISIS” has any semblance of truth. One would have to be down right — to believe such things.
May I suggest, if available, listening to the evidence or information of people like the FBI director and others before the US Congress, or leaders in the US Intelligence Commitees or the President Press conferences etc. Or credible media sources such as the the Washinton Post, NY Times and so forth. UK members of Parliament and other foreign leaders listen to those sources.
I am sure as Guyanese we would like to read informed discussions of the highest standard and not garbage and falsehood.

Which media does Gigi refer to as main stream. There are sources which knowledgeable informed readers refer to and those trying to get attention with “sensationalism” and falsehood. Gigi quotes the latter.
How could the US be in cahoots with ISIS when they are all trying so hard to kill them. That is a ridiculous idea. Do you think anything of that importance would escape US news reporters?

Kamtan as Deen wrote before you have to be here and see what goes on to really know what goes on. Forget the newspaper.Here is one scenario. Leaders at the top of the game (defence secretaries, CIA chief, Military experts etc) are constantly on interviews by dozens of newsmen on TV. They are questioned to the finest detail. Newsmen often hear the same answers we the TV audience hear……..anything more more transparent than that.
Do you think if Obama and the US was in cahoot with ISIS those newsmen and Israel would not know. Netanyahoo would be the first to expose any collaboration with his “enemies” There is a great deal of transparency in US operation but one has to know where to look.
Because of competition in the news business many media sources resort to sensationalism and the absurd to get attention……some not in search of “truth” read those.
