Concerned Citizens Against Domestic Abuse Corp. (“CCADAC”), is a Georgia based charitable not-for-profit organization formed out of a desire to provide assistance to abused adults and children in South America, particularly Guyana.
Abuse is a global problem that silences the voices of its victims and can happen to anyone regardless of race, age, sexual orientation or religion; and violates their basic human rights.
Vision: To be highly successful in the empowerment of women and children to negotiate the obstacles and overcome the sufferings associated with the social complex issues of domestic violence.
- Mission: To mobilize resources including funding from various sources to support activities and programs that will provide protection for those who suffer from the adverse consequences of domestic violence.
- To highlight the pervasiveness of this negative social behavior, and implement such policies that will promote positive change through education, counselling and censure where necessary.
