This will be the second time for Canada to be led by a Trudeau, as the 43-year-old Liberal leader follows in the footsteps of his father, Pierre Elliott Trudeau, who served as prime minister for almost 16 years before retiring in 1984….  ...[read more at links below]

    Congratulations to Justin Trudeau …..
However do feel its a step backward for Canadians.

    Devolution must be on cards….

    French English divide

    FRANCE V USA
    EUROS V USD

    Economics v politics 😈
    Too early for predictions/speculation.
    Just my opinion

WHY? Your remarks are too cryptic. Say something concrete.

    • De castro  On 10/20/2015 at 9:21 am

When commenting on matters political its wise to say as little as possible.
Justin Trudeau is a “liberal” no need to say more.
Liberalism leads to anarchy……anything goes politically.
Prefer the economics of either left or right.
      Tory or labour
      Democrats or Republican
Liberals are too weak to rule in today’s decision making…
Let’s see how “decisive” comrade Trudeau is before we can comment further.

      Is that better my friend.

Many think Hillary Clinton is very liberal.. Would you think she is weak to be a leader.
Is Putin your idea of a leader. Bold but make unwise decisions.

  • De castro  On 10/20/2015 at 12:24 pm

    Here is a political answer….
Hilary is politician first broom rider second.
Putin is a politician first a dictator second.

Both are very strong leaders for different reasons.
One a woman other a black belt karate.

Both are politicians don’t trust either.

    Hope that answers the question.😇

Are you related to the Donald?

    Donald Duck ! No !

Not a single person in my family or friends have chosen a “political” career.
I chose a military one but now retired for 11 years prefer to put my experiences/expertise into the written word.
Politically am more socialist than capitalist….but more right of centre than left….but no “liberal” or “commie” !

    Hope this explains my politics.

DD is an american republican dreamer…..will never be president.
Bernie Sanders AKA KFC finger licking Sanders…..will only be next USA president if Hilary AKA broom rider quits…..doubt it.

You american s have a choice..,
    A woman first female pres.
Or another democrat with enough money to sink the titanic.

    My prediction
Voters feel sorry for Hilary for Bills misdemena.

  • Albert  On 10/21/2015 at 11:54 am

“DD will never be President” Strange things can happen in this country. Clinton is prosecuted for her emails or Benghazi……..DD is elected and we really will need some God to save us.

    • Thinker  On 10/21/2015 at 9:29 pm

Perhaps not elected but he may get the Republican nomination. The republicans can only flirt with him for so long. As men quickly realise flirtation becomes serious after a while.

  • De castro  On 10/21/2015 at 1:23 pm

    DD will never be elected.
It is either Broom rider or KFC.
And only KFC if Broom rider backs off….she won’t…as she did with Obamarama.

USA politricks is so predictable. Boring 😴

  • Albert  On 10/21/2015 at 3:24 pm

    Boring? maybe. Predictable?
Romney was a pro coal energy guy. He promised to remove all the restrictions on coal mfg if elected. His first debate with Obama was a walkover. All the polls show he would win. I bought thousands of shares in coal stocks. You know the rest. …….all those coal company went bankrupt the day after the election and I lost my money……… so much for predictability.

    • De castro  On 10/21/2015 at 3:48 pm

Ha ha….investment is not …politics is….get the politics right and the economics follows.

Today Trudeau Canadian stocks are on the up …..cad on up ….the euphoria does not last.

      Here is some friendly advice.
Just before elections convert all investment into Cash
As soon.as euphoria is over ….revert to investment.
      Only hicup …same person re-elected.
None of polls got the Canadian predictions right.
Was hoping for “socialist” NDP..,…was certain that Harper time was over.
Politics has everything to do with economics.
The good thing about USA politics is Obamarama rule is complete.
Now will it be Hilary or Bernie ?
Not a gambling person but my money is on Hilary…..first female pres.

Am lucky as all three of my pensions are from UK government in £.
      Military
      Company (government service)
      State (old age at 65)
If I live to 75 break even on taxes paid over 44 years in employment.
After that my consultants on says I am in profit.
Two things in life are certain.
      Taxes and exit.
I will be paying tax until my exit…not complaining if it is not wasted on failed government projects.

      Que sera

  • De castro  On 10/21/2015 at 4:25 pm

    Albert
Am no financial adviser or consultant.
If I were an investor my money certainly won’t be in “dirty energy” ….
Coal tracking oil nuclear etc etc
Today UK is entertaining Chinese leader…..why ? £80B investment nuclear plant.
Russia is entertaining Ashad ….why ? Selling wMD including nukes to arabs.

Norway oil producer drives electric cars…20% of cars bought in Norway electric.

Solar wind wave will be the future energy source as our dependancy on fossil fuels diminishes. Ways I sees it.
