I watched the actual wedding on TV and this captures beautifully the main scenes of that event. Well done and thank you.

As a child growing up in British Guiana, the cinema gave us a glimpse of Royalty. You have made life a bit more interesting by capturing these scenes . I enjoyed these photographs. Well done. Diana lives through Wills. Thank you.

    THE EVENT OF THE CENTURY

At an early hour I was awoken

To look at this enjoyable token

Of true love from the heart’s fate

The wedding of William and Kate

‘twas an event of the year

    And everyone was there

    Billions watching a fairy storey

At the changing of the monarchy

All the way from home in Buckleberry

She came and captured the monarchy

    This wedding was significant

    Because of its humane slant

William couldn’t have made a better choice

She has the poise, looks and sweet sexy voice

Queen to be Kate is a woman of class

As she smiled and waved to the mass

They both showed a lot of compassion

And fundamentals for a strong union

They were the unique epitome of love

And she looked peaceful like a dove

The highlight of course was the kiss

One that was done with love in bliss

Unlike the to be monarch you know the other

Who had to ask his mother if he can kiss her

This was done without pomp and ceremony

A royal kiss befitting the people’s monarchy

To me William should’ve broke the shroud

And make it a French kiss hard and loud

But then that’s me just doing my click

And I am just a lost lonely romantic

She behaves with all the qualities like a queen

Down to earth something we have never seen

In the to be other monarch who’s still alive

And hoping he may one day take the dive

As King William and Queen Catherine all alone

And let at last the neo-monarch take the throne

She’s so cool and so calm

Hope she comes to no harm

Even with the English gloom and heavy rains

Her refreshing smile would ease all his pains

When all the old heads finally go under

King William would make a good ruler

William has chosen well when he married Kate

After 8 years he realized he’d found his soulmate

She would be strong and always shine

For she’s a good head on a firm spine

Cyril,I enjoy reading these beautiful poems by Narine Datt, his poetic flair written in such simple language reminds one of the good old days in Guyana, and as a true Buxtonian I yearn for “A BEAUTIFUL GUYANA” once more. Re the Royal Wedding…William has certainly lived up to Diana’s expectations,Kate is Simplicity and a people person.May they enjoy a lifetime of happiness. Thanks for the lovely e-mails. Soorsaty.
