Firemen are first responders who are required to help and protect victims and their property. While purporting to do so, many fireman seize the opportunity to steal from victims. The stealing of property by firemen from the Fly Jamaica aircraft which had mechanical problems and landed with some difficulty at the CJIA, is a shameless and sickening disgrace. Disciplined Services vote on Monday November 21
With the members of the Disciplined Services set to cast their ballots on Monday, two of Guyana’s major political parties have made a last ditch effort to secure their votes.
Members of the Guyana Police Force, the Fire Service, the Guyana Defence Force and the Guyana Prison Services will cast their ballots one week before the rest of the nation goes to the poll to elect a new government.
Both A Partnership for National Unity and the People’s Progressive Party/Civic have given reasons why members of the Disciplined Services should elect them to office. Read more
