Fruits, vegetables exports record 11 percent increase in 2011-Statistics

Exportation of fruits and vegetables to regional and international markets in 2011 increased by 11 percent which accounts for $US7M in export earning, according to government agency statistics. According to the statistics, the country produced more than 4,000 tonnes of citrus, including limes, 21,000 tonnes of fruits and more than 60,000 tonnes of vegetables
This represents a 47 percent increase over 2010. Continue reading
