President of American University Says: This Caribbean Island Can Teach the US A Thing or Two

CALIFORNIA, United States, Tuesday August 29, 2017 – There’s an island in the Lesser Antilles that the head of one of the oldest institutions of higher education in Southern California, United States thinks very highly of.

In fact, President of Woodbury University, David Steele-Figueredo, Ph.D., thinks the United States can learn a lot from it. The President of Woodbury University believes Barbados may be able to teach the US something about education.

“While Barbados may not be perfect in every sense of the word, maybe we can learn a lesson or two from its excellent educational system, its history of compassion and humanity, and the longevity of the people on this little island.”     Continue reading
