Georgetown, Guyana – Just days after signing on as the first Caribbean Premier League (CPL) franchise owner, Dr. Ranjisingh ’Bobby’ Ramroop’s New GPC Inc, specifically its Limacol brand, has assumed the title sponsorship of the CPL.

Dr. Ranjisingh ’Bobby’ Ramroop

This means that Ramroop’s CPL is the over-all sponsor of the competition. Ramroop, who has long been known as former President Bharrat Jagdeo’s best friend, will now pay all the match fees, all the Man of the Match awards and more than anything he will control the broadcast rights throughout the region and further afield.

CPL will now be known as the Limacol CPL, said the announcers of the expanded role Ramroop is playing in the competition.   Continue reading
