“GivingTuesday” is a global day of giving. To help raise awareness of charitable causes and encourage donors’ generosity, Facebook will match $8 million U.S. in qualifying donations made on its platform during “GivingTuesday” on Nov. 29.
Last year, LFU raised nearly $1,500 from your donations and the qualifying Facebook match. We are encouraging you to help us spread the word about
“GivingTuesday 2022.”
It is a big world with hundreds of thousands of organizations like the LFU hoping to raise funds in support of their mission. Our plan this year is to have our supporters clicking the DONATE button on our Facebook page, starting at exactly by a.m. 8 AM Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
Facebook will match all donations on a first-come, first served basis, until the $8 million fund has been met. Please make a commitment, not only to donate, but to donate by 8 am. Let’s see what we can do, together! You will receive weekly reminders until Giving Tuesday.
