UNGA76 General Debate: Prime Minister of Barbados
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley of Barbados addressed the UN General Assembly on September 24, 2021.
In her address she touched on some controversial issues relating to Barbados and other Caribbean countries, as well as the present world we live in.
It has been considered one of the best speeches made recently by any leader addressing the UN, and was reported widely in the worldwide media. In it she mentioned the song “Get Up Stand Up” By Bob Marley, the famous Jamaican Reggae singer
