Vic Fernandes does an impressive, very detailed, presentation on the life and achievements of the remarkable life of Sir Shridath Ramphall; One for the archives.

How does one measure the success of Sir Shridath Ramphall’s work in trying to bring cooperation between the countries of Guyana and the Caribbean? A very great planner, problem is in the application? if you ask any ordinary person in the Guyana who is Sir Shridath Ramphall, more than likely, you might get a, Who? Ask anyone in the world, who is Bob Marley, you will get a YEA MAN.
    Why is that?

I wonder whether his vision of a West Indian Federation of English speaking nations will ever become reality beyond CARICOM’s humble beginnings?

Never…..bunch of mini Napoleons refusing to accept the reality of their existence, precipitous, a future of “Hat in hand” with the probable difference, Jamaica, now about to drown in huge debt.
Everyone of them with a deep hatred, jealousy, of Guyana, and rightly so, all the potential in Guyana will soon come to fruition, Oil is only the beginning.
My earlier comments on Sir Shridath Ramphall were meant…. the history of Statesmen,Entertainers, etc will all disappear into archive, there is not an active promotion to enlighten the present and upcoming generations.
Every morning, I listen to ZJB Montserrat (wife spent many years there)they play Arrow almost daily, along with past and present performers, also feature programs of the Island history, with present and retired statesmen, I feel that this helps. maybe??

Sir Sonny Ramphal is indisputably one of Guyana’s greatest sons! He’s also one of the world’s greatest sons. The video brilliantly summarizes his phenomenal legacy.

Forbes and the other Caribbean leaders universally respected the legend. That respect for Sonny spans the globe.

    Brother Man.
