VIDEO: New Races/Ethnic Groups that Might Exist in the Future – Opinion

A Masamap video

What are the new races/ethnicities that might exist in the future, considering global patterns of human migration and intermixing continue? I’ve done videos over races that might go extinct soon and races that have already gone extinct, but let’s get less morbid and discuss what the world will look like in the future if each region gradually homogenizes into a single gene pool or race.

Contrary to what many have argued and what is portrayed in media, some geneticists and anthropologists claim that the human species is currently diverging faster than it is converging, and that global miscegenation will not curb the trajectory of humanity to diverge completely into different races, or (at the extreme) even different species on a long enough time frame. Today we’ll discuss just who these new groups might resemble based on data from the present and projections into the future.

A very interesting video! Most Western democracies are turning into multiracial societies. Just look at Switzerland, where more than half the children are the result of binational unions. Immigration fuels economic development in most successful countries.

Concur with the video’s analyis & Dr. Brandli’s observations. In fact, in the early 1970’s there was a book published titled “Evolution of the Brown Man” which postulated much the same thing as this video.

For myself, I am right there. My father was Black with a little German/Portuguese mixed in; my mother was Portuguese. I married an East Indian woman and our children now in Canada are married to white folk and they have children. They don’t all reflect my/wife’s background probably, due to the genetic makeup of the various parents.

My own birth certificate says mixed race although I understand that Burnham had subsequently eliminated such classifications. I saw information published from the last census taken in Guyana that showed some 22% of the population considered themselves to be of mixed race. That’s a good thing as hopefully in about 50 years’ time, those numbers will have increased enough to place the other groups in the minority and racism ever so present in Guyana may be largely a thing of the past.

Perhaps the same thing will eventually occur and benefit the rest of the world as the video and Dr. Brandli notes in Switzerland although, Of course, as you know it’s not an easy ride at this time in Europe as evidenced by the racial attacks on football players, but things will get better as minds become more opened. I feel however, that some Asian countries with the belief of racial intellectual superiority and that largely may be due to their limited involvement in sports (a debatable leap by me), will clamp down and disown their citizens who co-habit outside “their gene pool”.

After the problems experienced in Germany by the off-spring of unions from German women and the occupying Black American soldiers(were there not riots in a town in Germany during the mid 1980’s?), I believe the US Govt. foreseeing difficulty for kids if left in Vietnam, had chosen to bring to the US mixed race kids abandoned/rejected as they were from unions with its soldiers in Vietnam, and those children were not accepted by “pure blooded” Vietnamese.

While the world has a long way to achieve the full melding of races/ethnic groups, but I expect it will continue to evolve to the benefit of most humans.

Major involvement in the process by government usually causes it to derail. As a young man in Guyana, never thought anyone was different, until we were told. Same in Canada, was doing well, slowly, but changing. When the government started using the system to create voting blocks, everything collapsed, now everyone pointing fingers.

There are many Indo-Caribbean Guyanese who are mixed with Afro and Euro. The ones who are mixed with European and/or look like Nicki Minaj tend to be treated poorly by the Indian migrants when they migrate to the ABCEU countries because of the Indian nationalism.
