The coronavirus pandemic has crushed the global economy, and a recession is inevitable in the U.S. as the Federal Reserve warns the second quarter will be much worse than Q1. The auto industry has been hit particularly hard as car sales tank. But here is why some experts say that Tesla is better off than other U.S. automakers to get through this downturn.

Nice vehicles to drive in the warm weather, once you master the various controls of the various models. The major problem comes during cold weather as there is no charging system when moving. As such, powering the drive motor(s), lights, braking, signalling, keeping warm all deplete the battery juice and in the Canadian winters when the cold reduces every battery’s power, drivers can get stranded on the shoulder of snow covered roads. In time, I am certain that batteries will get better, but it will be a while before most families in cold weather zones(if they can afford the cost) rely on a Tesla as the only vehicle in the family.I have driven many Tesla’s so I write from experience in Canada.
There are lots of Tesla’s here in Zurich. I am waiting for Model Y to be come available in Switzerland.
