The Power of One: We are the Change we Seek! – By Dr. Dhanpaul Narine

Can one person really make a difference? Can an individual change the world by doing good?

We hear the wonderful words of inspiration from some of the leading thinkers of our time. Many believe they can lift mountains if they put their minds to it. It is not rocket science to think that one person can change the world if that person applies him or herself to the task ahead.

One person may be more emphatic than others but it is the publicity that he/she receives that makes them famous and listened to. It was the gospels that made Jesus Christ well known/famous; the printing press publicized Martin Luther’s work; television made MLK, Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi,Malala Yousefzai, etc. famous. It is the power of the modern media that gives a person credibility and a following.

Mr Narine writes some good stuff but his vertical columns make reading hard. I seldom bother to read the whole articles.

As I previously commented, it is a whole lot better to write horizontally. Please do whatever you can to fix this problem.
