Humpty Dumpty is religiously Christian !

Observe how these two leaders are ruling
their countries. Addressing their minority issues differently.
    India Muslim minorities !

Are not both countries not democracies ?

Kamtan: Muslims are an over 160 million minority who chose to remain in India rather than head for the two wings of Pakistan, one now Bangladesh, which they wanted created for them. The can still go to Pakistan. Most Indians would love that as they, Muslims, demand special rights based on Sharia.

Maybe the Muslims prefer to remain
in India …one should not discriminate
on religious political or social grounds.
In my opinion one should not “dictate”
where one should choose to live.

Why do you keep talking about discrimination against Muslims? They are the ones, as cruel invaders/rulers of India, who have discriminated against the native Hindus for 800 years. They are the ones who forced their religion on Hindus, so today all Indians – including Pakistanis and Bangladeshis who are Muslims – were converted at the option of beheading.

While this is not a benefit but a corruption, they took child marriages into India, patterned after Muhammad’s child wife, Aisha.

They prefer to remain in India because of the goodies they get from Indian parties vying for their votes, which they will never get in Pak.

For example, since at least independence they were/are given special rights and privileges by the Nehruvian/Indira and Sonia Gandhians socialist Congress Party which the native Hindus don’t get. For example, until last year a Muslim man can just utter “talaq, talaq, talaq” (triple talaq) and he automatically divorces his wife who is then left unsupported, hence poverty is institutionalized among them.

Then there is the Haaj Subsidy for Muslims to go to Arabia. Wikipedia (or any other site) tells us that:

    Just “Since 2000, over 1.5 million Muslims have used the subsidy;
since 2008, over 120,000 Indian Muslim EVERY year make use of the subsidy
The total subsidy provided by the Government of India was US$1,815 per Muslim pilgrim in 2008.
Doing the math gives US$ 217.8 million just for 2008 !

So, imagine how much money the Indian gov’t has been providing for Muslims to attend Haa over the yearsj; while Hindus get NO subsidy to attend pilgrimages right in India. It is Hindus who are discriminated against.

I know a Canadian neighbour who annually would head for India and apply for the subsidy and then go to Haaj.
The Indian Supreme court in 2012 finally decided to phase it out. and so the Indian gov’t can use the money to educate these minority girls, who otherwise don’t get educated., because girls’ education is devalued by Muslims.

“On 16 January 2018 Union (Central Modi gov’t minister for minority affairs said that the Hajj subsidy has been completely taken off (Rs 700crore) [US$100 million] and this amount will be made used for educational purposes of the children belonging to minority”.

All of these changes to ‘right the ship’ are what you and the western media ‘echo chambers’ refer to as discrimination, esp by the Modi gov’t. Drill down and learn the truth.

      Ha ha hilarious !
India has two classes in their society !
      Two class system !
      Rich class
      Poor class

      Unlike EU/usa/uk
      Et al…
No middle class aka working class !
Maybe that why their god has 4 hands !

      Until the political jackasses addresses
this issue India will remain a “third world”
      nation state.
When money 💰 becomes the god in a
society the moral compasses 🧭 is distorted.

      Most developed countries realised very
early in their evolution that having a
      majority middle class makes sense.
      Common sense approach in politics.

There are the sects of Hare Krishna and Sikhs who are the generous ones, but Hindus have disliked those sects.

Couple of things Kamtan to get informed about. Dig down past the ‘echo chamber’ sensationalism.

Re India on has two classes, no middle class.

Here is PBS.org discussing middle class in India:
    “583 million
The forecasted size of India’s middle class in 2025, swelling over ten times its current approximate size of 50 million.

    “291 million
The number of people who are expected to move from desperate poverty to a more sustainable life by 2025.

Re. No middle class aka working class !

Whatever that means. Nevertheless, here is CERN, a most prestigious scientific organization, with a 4-handed Hindu God.

    • Trevor  On 09/24/2019 at 9:40 pm

Affirmative action laws are also a product of the democrats, and the struggle of the Civil Rights movement pre-1965.

Indian-Americans, and I can also say Indo-based Guyanese and Caribbean Hindus have benefited from the struggle of African-Americans, and have now spat in their faces to support Trump.

Zenith: You discredit the Hindu deity, Lakshmi, because just like Kamtan and the other Hindu haters on this blog, your seriously underinformed, CERN shows there is a deeper meaning to these symbols. Hinduism is not WYSIWYG but it deals much with Cosmic ideas. Is very different from Christianity and Islam – literal, rigid religions.

So here is a Lakshmi. When you see her you will tear your hair (if you have any) out. She is politician as is/was a Deputy Minister/Permanent Secty. She also likens the comments you haters make as illiterate.
In the second link, listen how learned the speakers are about Hinduism. Incidentally, the moral/ethical lifestyle they lead and promote, which attracts others, in Hinduism is called ARYA = noble beliefs, thinking and action. This is the word that Nazis co-opted from India (after reading the great philosophical Hindu texts) and claimed they were a superior race, Aryans; and that the Indians were a long lost and misguided relatives because they were not white and not Christians, but pagans.
So, shock yourself(es) to sanity, respecting others and wisdom

I can’t help but laugh at how determined he is to big up India. He should be happy as hell that he isn’t walking barefoot and starving in Bihar or Pradesh in India, and instead, became the richest groups in South America & the islands.

Maybe you should go and sort out the toilets in India as you seem to love the country so. Much. You call people ignorant and pests. Who on earth do you think you are? The world is full of evil and horrible people because they think that their religion is far superior.

    • Trevor  On 09/26/2019 at 12:24 pm

Calypso Betty, I got warned for responding to Veda because I asked him where in Hinduism is it acceptable to become a religious leader and slap girls.

Apparently, it’s okay among Guyanese, here and abroad to spread lies on anti-PPP activists, but it’s taboo to speak what goes on in certain clannish and cult-like schools which are products of the PPP clique.

I just hope that they understand that if it weren’t for the struggle of other peoples before them, they wouldn’t be constructing seven eight nine and even ten story high buildings across GT, or becoming wealthy doctors in the USA or Canada.

    • Trevor  On 09/26/2019 at 12:29 pm

      What ‘alien culture’?

The PPP under Jagdeo made mainly Guyanese of Hindu faith one of the richest peoples in the region.

The IMF reported that the average GDP per capita of Guyana was barely US$3,000 from 2000-2015, yet we saw PPP members and employees build mansions and skyscrapers across GT on GY$35,000-$65,000 a month salary.

Were they working overtime to build mansions in Sparendaam and sell it for US$1,000,000 to Trinis?

      And look at this eh?!

The same buildings and mansions are now valued as much as FIVE TIMES before the discovery of oil.

Barefoot PPP stooges are now American-dollar millionaires, while we, the working class Guyanese, have to pay more for rent and housing!

Do you think that you could force Lamaha squatters to leave their shacks along the embankment, and then build six story buildings which have significantly increased in value today?

  • Veda Nath Mohabir  On 09/26/2019 at 12:57 pm

    Kamptan, Kamptan:
If its any one who needs help is you and your Indian/Hindu-hating pals here. Your type is inimical for a forward ‘healing’ Guyana.

The ‘Black’ Ghanian Hindu woman, “Lakshmi”, states it clearly, unambiguously, that your types of comments are “ignorant”!

I have also shown that PBS.org on ‘Indian middle class’ (which you claim is non-existent) and that the prestigious scientific CERN has a 4-armed Hindu deity (which you mock) on its lawn.

Who then is “ignorant” (uninformed) and needs help ? Hint: Just look in the mirror.

Trevor: At no point have I ever attempted to hide my heritage. I am almost sure I mentioned few years ago on this blog that I believe I am lightly mixed. I also think I mentioned that I married a mixed (Black, Portuguese and Indian) woman making my 2 daughters mixed. As well, to please my wife, I brought them up as Catholics (Today I realize it was a mistake because they hardly know about my religion). They are now married to mixed men. So, my grandchildren are mixed.

My quarrel with DNA for individuals is that they are not to be taken too seriously, because they depend on size and breadth and currency of the data base and the built in probabilistic element. Then there is human manipulation and interpretation.
In my case, one shows that I have 1-5 % African as well as 2-6% West European. No mention of East Asian (Chinese). Yet the second shows only the latter; and nothing of the former. They are mutually exclusive.

Now about my relationship with African Guyanese. My earliest childhood friend was a dougla. My closest high-school friend in my latter years was a dougla and a ‘red guy’ – Gordon Sumner and Eddie Monize. Another close friend was Leslie Bobb.
When I moved to GT, age 20, I lived in in a ‘Bachie” for 2 years. My roommate was a black fella. For another two years I lived with a mixed family. For most of the 4 years another very close friend, buddies, was Mike Huggins.

During the 6 years in GT before moving to Canada, 9 of 10 associates – at work, theatre and socially, were black.
As far as I know, no other Indian was so immersed with black people in Guyana as I was.

Today, I carry myself as Indian because I found that my openness to black culture was not reciprocated, even in my own home. Everything is fine and honk-dory as long as I and Indians generally are willing to forgo their own religion and culture.
As well, because I started seeing (from westerners) the value of Hindu philosophy, I have become a defender and promoter of Indians and their quality religion or philosophy and culture.

As well, very importantly Indians were brutalized from day #1 of the 181 years in Guyana. So, I set out to expose these atrocities because as the earliest perpetrators said the ‘coolies with alien culture were too weak to fight back’. I don’t feel weak. I detail the shocking details in my current book rebutting Seecharan (citing a fair-minded Black Caribbean scholar the way Eusi Kwayana is)

    VedaNM

    • Trevor  On 09/28/2019 at 5:49 pm

Veda, I’m not there to stop anyone from harassing anyone 181 years ago, but today, our generation doesn’t beat up people and call them “c**lie cyant fight bakk”. Guyanese culture has changed and merged into chutney, soca, reggae, dancehall and calyso culture into one. You should stay in Guyana for a year, and see how people are not that racial like the ABC countries.

You might only get issues with the islanders and European expats in Trinidad, who view Guyanese as a whole as sub-human, but the racist sentiments are only fomented from the political parties and right now 7 billion barrels of oil is at stake, and the parties, the foreigners and the oil investors are rubbing their hands together to see civil discord,

because when people fight up in GT, the foreign money launderer is erecting (no pun intended) another 9 storey high rise, and the oil companies are drilling for oil in Venezuela’s waters.
