Costing between $4-8 trillion and affecting 65 countries, China’s ambitious One Belt, One Road (OBOR) initiative is the granddaddy of all megaprojects.

By the time of it’s estimated completion in 2049, OBOR will stretch from the edge of East Asia all the way to East Africa and Central Europe, and it will impact a lengthy list of countries that account for 62% of the world’s population and 40% of its economic output.

Today’s infographic from Raconteur helps visualize the initiative’s tremendous size, scale, and potential impact on Asian infrastructure.

    of entrepreneurship/innovators.

Can the US stop the changing tides?

    • kamtanblog  On September 19, 2019 at 3:29 pm

King Canute tried to stem the tide !
Potus aka King Kong will try the same.
No one has succeeded in doing so.
Will USA do so ? Doubt it !

However USA will recover and regain
it’s position as leader of the free world.
      Forever the optimist

They are planning to use Guyana as a launching pad to invade Venezuela and instigate war with Russia and China, so yes!

Would America like 4,000 to 10,000 GDF Troops landing in the Mexican border, so why would the US Army come here and set a military base in Region One?

In order to set up camp USA would have
requested and given permission to do so.
Sri Lanka asked India for help to defeat
Tamil Tigers. Now that TT are no more
Indian troops still occupy Sri Lanka.
USA may have been invited ?
If Jagdeo is elected expect Chinese and Russians to be also invited.
Britain honoured its treaty with Poland
        after Hitler invaded Poland. Churchill
        (Warmonger) declared war on Germany.

        Now go figure

Finally the soluton….MOON? come on, the US is like the tough, rich, axxxxx kicking cousin, you don’t want him at the family BBQ, but, you want him around if your axx is about to be kicked.
My take, if the US ever goes under, [will never happen USD USD] the whole world will sink into sh,,, hole status, with rich people flying over the mess to get to their private islands, like San Francisco

      Come on …
      Never say never….
$ and oil (black gold) are now interdependent
Before the $ was backed by gold…
      Gold standard now history.
As we become less dependent on
oil the price can “tank”….it’s not a case
      of one replacing other…more complimenting
      the other….hopefully gradually not suddenly.

Am no market guru but renewable energy
sources …wind wave solar is way forward.
