BOOK:Mohandas K. Gandhi: Thoughts, Words, Deeds: His Source of Inspiration: Bhagavad – Gita

By: by Ramnarine Sahadeo (Author)

This book is put together in appreciation of one of the greatest souls of the 20th century. If mankind is to change its current destructive direction Gandhi’s message must remain a source of hope and inspiration if we are to survive as a species.

Mohandas Karamchand Ghandi (Mahatma) thoughts, words and deeds empowered him with unimaginable influence that he used to make an indelible mark on world history. He was a spiritual leader with no political office but exercised more power than those in positions of authority because he was a visionary with an indomitable will and a potent force dedicated to social and political reform.

While countless books have been written about him and he penned his own autobiography The Story of My Own Experiments With Truth, events since September 11, 2001, make this to be an appropriate time to relive his achievements in the hope that mankind can turn away from violence, anger, deceit, greed, and excessive materialism. These not only diminish us as rational human beings, but also hasten the destruction of all the progress that has been achieved over the centuries.

    Ghandi was a “radical” religiously motivated.
    He was also an egoistic and chauvinistic male.
    Not unlike Humpty Dumpty Potus.
    India during colonial rule only had two
    classes. Ghandi challenged the upper
    class in society very successfully.
    He was martyred in the end.
    Today India still continues its two
    class system with modi using Muslim minorities as
    scapegoats. Hitler did same with jews.
