I am a English trained barrister. I made a few comments in the past that if I were the judge I would have given an impromptu judgment declaring that the no confidence motion was properly passed and valid. I would not have reserved my judgment. I made many comments in the past that 33 votes constitute a majority in a 65-member chamber. All the arguments to the contrary cannot stand up to proper legal analysis. Although the CCJ should be commended for its decision, it is at fault for delaying its decision. Time is of the essence, and the general elections in Guyana should have been completed over a month ago.
I must commend the CCJ for its ruling on the illegal appointment of the Chairman to the Election Commission. I made several comments in the media that David Granger, the president of Guyana, was at fault for not choosing a name in one of the three lists submitted by Bharat Jagdeo. Obviously, his design was to prevent a free and fair election. Dr Nat Khublall, London

    The significance of this moment:

While the CCJ ruling has confirmed that the December 2018 non-confidence vote was constitutional and that the appointment of the GECOM Chairman was illegal, all measures must be taken to ensure that the country does not relapse into another era of rigged elections, corruption, nepotism, and economic stagnation.

Following the unceremonious and illegal ouster of Dr. Cheddi Jagan from office by a concerted and gangsterous British and American effort and the installation of their puppet Burnham to the highest office in the land, democracy was painfully hijacked in the decades to follow.

That international criminal act led to frightening unrest and a mass exodus of Guyanese (and a devastating brain drain). It also, regrettably, resulted in a major economic stagnation (and widespread food shortages) that brought many Guyanese to the brink of starvation.

Today, as a result of mass migration, there are twice as many Guyanese living abroad than at home. No other country on earth has experienced such population disproportionality.

With a promising economic boom ahead with the discovery of oil, the country must move inexorably forward and not backward for the common good. Corruption and unfair elections must never be repeated. All Guyanese must work in unison toward this end!

What we Guyanese have lost in past half-century can never be reclaimed.

All of Guyana’s sons and daughters (at home and in the diaspora) must work together for a brighter tomorrow. There is no room for hate, incitement, and violence.

It is therefore imperative that folks like Jagdeo and Granger step aside; and instead, work jointly to uphold peace, justice, and democracy in the motherland, if at all possible!

Their time at the top has expired! It is now time for new blood!

    Nothing less will suffice!

    Ron Saywack.

Exxon-Mobil and AmeriKKKa don’t want a “communist” PPP government (yet racist Indo-elite party). This was why AFC was voted into power, despite the party being run by former PPP MPs; less communist for AmeriKKa.

This was why half of the Guyanese populace claim that the 2015 elections was rigged in favour of a pro-colonial sympathiser who to this day, refuses to allow Rastaman the right to use de herbs as a medicine, but will allow Deep State agents like Sherlina Nageer of SASOD to set shop in Guyana to spread a social agenda.

  • Veda Nath Mohabir  On 06/21/2019 at 11:16 pm

Ron: The reason ‘twice as many Guyanese live in the diaspora than in Guyana’ is because of the following type of behaviour (surprisingly, criticized by Freddie Kissoon) and the concomitant violence, especially visited on one group – to which I belong. I got out in 1969 after living through the 1962-64 period in GT. In 2001, thought I would contribute to the country by working there for at least half a year annually. Ditched the idea after violence on people like me broke out again in 2001.

Freddie Kissoon: ‘Granger, Jordan, Harmon: Outrageousness at its worst’

“All the Guyanese … who supported the PNC in its evolution and who still embrace the PNC, have to be embarrassed at the illogical utterance attributed to the PNC leader and President of the country, David Granger.
The President said he would like the CCJ to explain how he acted unconstitutionally in appointing the GECOM Chairman (I hope at the time of writing; Thursday afternoon, Patterson would have resigned). The level of absurdity in that statement is beyond belief. To my mind, it disqualifies Granger from being the PNC leader and President.”

This is the same PNC behaviour which led me to leave Guyana.
Read the rest here. Unbelievable that Kissoon finally has his eyes open.

Granger, Jordan, Harmon: Outrageousness at its worst

Then there is this Christopher Ram’s piece. https://www.kaieteurnewsonline.com/2019/06/20/aftermath-of-ccj-rulings/

The bland fact is there is the supremacist PNC (‘Party Paramountcy’) inheritors in power. Don’t see how they will be dislodged!

Guyana has no future other than with a shared gov’t – which I have pitched since early 1990’s

BTW: I have available my new 315 page self-published hardcopy version of my just released book where I take on Prof Clem Seecharan. $23.95 US + postage. Not yet on the internet, where I will put it as an ebook in couple of months.
“A MAULING of INDIANS – Prof. Clem Seecharan’s Noxious, “Revisionist” Falsehoods of Indo-Guyanese History”.

Rebutting Seecharan for the ‘mauling’ he perpetrated in this speech: https://guyaneseonline.net/2014/04/11/32007/

Among shocking documented disclosures, I show racism in Guyana didn’t start with Indians, as Seecharan contends, and is the conventional wisdom. I promise many other revelations, eg the Hindu caste system wasn’t so designed by Hindus; the British ‘set it in stone’; and what is another false conventional wisdom – the Aryan Invasion of India. All of these are cited by Seecharan

I saw in the comment above reference is made to the Aryan Invasion Theory. It is a gigantic lie and concoction. I discussed it in a few of my books on India. I have written 5 books on India. Check them out on Amazon under Dr Nat Khublall

As already mentioned above, I wrote 5 books on India. A few of them discuss the concocted Aryan Invasion Theory. There is no evidence of any type to support the AIT. In this regard, I set out in some detail why the AIT is a gigantic concoction. Go to Google and type my name Dr Nat Khublall and you can find my books on India. Some of them are available for 99 cents (US). I am an author of 33 books of different types. Dr Nat Khublall. My email is nk1938@mail.com

Ramesh: Are you the same person who was arguing at the Vedic Cultural Ctre (Markham, Ontario), May 4 where I had released my book – the Mauling of Indians – and you were arguing that the Hindu religion is borrowed from the Iranians?

Either way, my book deal exhaustively with the AIT. Get a copy and read the arguments and become informed.

    Ramesh

The AIT, as Dr Khublal also says, has not a foot, not a toe to stand on, yet this fiction is the conventional wisdom which is said to define Indians and which the Nazis made their lynchpin. Both, shamelessly, Profs Clem Seecharan and Kean Gibson build their theses about IndoGuyanese, read Hindus, on this dangerous fiction – making Hindus a repressive community towards African Guyanese and Muslims et al in India. This dangerous fiction will make Hindus target for attacks. Hence my two books challenging Seecharan and Gibson.

Now look who has joined them and slamming PM Modi and Hindus. Look at topic on the left margin on Modi Hindutva so see another dangerous lie that will endanger Hindus in Guyana/ Caribbean. I have spent several hours denouncing this new lie. Look closely at what the blowbackers are saying about India/ Hindus. Kamptan deems Sanyasin. PM Modi,a “faggot” and Trevor deems India “a shit hole”. This is how Indians/Hindus are viewed by other Guyanese.

So learn about the fake AIT and yourself. And look over your shoulder.

Ramesh, here is the topic about Modi-Hindutva seen as threat to Guyana/Caribbean. This is part of the unrelenting media attacks on Hindus/India.

So, know thyself! You are NOT Central Asian Aryan progeny. You are an indigenous Indian since at least over 50,000 years ago! As such, yours is the oldest, extant civilization which seeded and fertilized the rest of the non-African world. I will deal with this in a book for next year.

In the meantime, read my current book where I deal with AIT, the Caste System/Untouchability, the 1,000 years of Islamic and European hegemony and how the racial situation developed in Guyana. I cite a fair-minded Caribbean Black woman scholar to show that African-Guyanese started the racial situation in Guyana from the earliest, earliest contact with Indians (One perpetrator claimed: “Coolie too weak” to defend their women and themselves). The book is 315 pages 8 1/2 x11 in. to save printing costs (already $19 ea) otherwise book could be 500 pages. If you are in Canada, the book is $25 CDN, plus postage. If in Toronto, as others have done, pick it up from me and save postage. I took 5 year to write to cover various topics which Clem Seecharan villianize Hindus about. Contact: vedamohabir@rogers.com . See link above for Seecharan’s speech.

    Dear Mr. Ramesh:
Notice that I address you directly. Your query had no addressee; how was I to know whom you were addressing, since I raised the topic of AIT ? You are getting hot under the collar with the wrong person. You should be targeting Profs. Clem Seecharan and Kean Gibson for villainizing Indians/Hindus assuming you are even informed about their villianization of Hindus – which you don’t seem to know about (as are so many Indians, even though it affects their lives)

In my follow-up posts I have gone to the trouble to help you understand your (assumed) Indian ancestry since you clearly don’t know (thinking Aryans invaded India and so you are most likely a product of them – unless your ancestry is so deep into South India territory, and had been endogamous from 50,000 years ago ); and explain how much time I have spent defending Indian ancestry for ALL Indians’ benefit. It is disconcerting that you (like the unknown Hindu man at the VCC, May 4) still believe in the Aryan Invasion Theory! That is why I queried you. I simply can’t believe there are two of you out there, in such a short space of time.
It is amazing that you are uninformed on the subject; that is why I recommend you read my book and YES! Get informed.
It is hard to comprehend that you, like that man at the VCC who don’t know the AIT is just a huge fiction – started as an assertion by German born, Max Muller (who worked for the British East India Co. – BEICo – to spread Christianity in India by denigrating Hinduism) by misreading a single word, mentioned once in the RigVeda to then claim Central Asians (Aryans) invaded India and drove the ‘dark-skinned’ indigenous Indians to South India. THERE IS NOT A SHRED OF LITERARY, GEOGRAPHIC, GEOLOGIC, ANTHROPOLOGICAL, ARCHAEOLOGICAL NOR GENETIC EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT THE ASSERTION!!!

But, after Sir Wm Jones, another BEICo functionary, having learned and read the glorious Indian texts and saw the link of Sanskrit with Greek, Latin and all other European (and I will add: Slavic) languages but superior to them all, hypothesized a Central Asian ‘mother’ – which is still not located. Jones said in 1786: SANSKRIT “IS OF A WONDERFUL STRUCTURE; MORE PERFECT THAN THE GREEK, MORE COPIOUS THAN THE LATIN, AND MORE EXQUISITELY REFINED THAN EITHER, YET BEARING TO BOTH OF THEM A STRONGER AFFINITY…” So, with this Jones’ finding and hypothesis and Muller misreading the one word “Dasus”, the AIT was born.

Here you have in a nutshell my (uninvited) explanation of AIT. But, don’t be too hot under the collar; it is not for you alone – you can dismiss it and continue to remain uninformed – it is for all other readers who appreciate getting informed, as well.

You may also dismiss the following. It is for all readers. A little more background of how I have dedicated my time to safeguard Indians/Hindus’ security and Hindu Dharma. In 2008-9 a group, with me as lead, petitioned UWI over Dr. Gibson’s hateful denunciation of Hindus (misreading Hindu texts) – claiming the PPP was a Hindu gov’t and they with run-of-the-mill Indians were/are performing genocide on Blacks in Guyana. I then followed up with my book, UNDER ATTACK! – THE CARIBBEAN INDIANS, – Rebutting & Educating UWI’s Dr. Kean Gibson for vilifying Hindus (2009) – all done to safeguard Indian lives. The trigger for that petitioning and book was the 2:00 am, January 28, 2008 slaughter of eleven (11) poor sleeping Indians at Lusignan, (adjacent to Buxton) Guyana. Little children and mothers and fathers had their stomachs shot-out (Google it to see the pics). I saw a link between the hate for Indians/Hindus which seems to be pervasive in Guyana and even possibly what Gibson has in her books. So, I wrote mine. The hate for Indians is so much that as above, several others refer to India as “shit-hole”. Eusi Kwayana writes in The Morning After”, that one PNC candidate, later killed, called for boycott of Indian businesses; and that when their “revolution” against the PPP was over Indians would be made non-citizens; Others also call for this segregation.
So what all of this has to do with AIT? This hate for Indians stems from AIT. According to Gibson and Seecharan, Hinduism is derived from these Invading supremacist Aryans, thus making all followers of Hinduism supremacist. My books counter this inflammatory thesis.

I’m not defending Fineman or Skinny, but how can these men, who both have aliases which reflect their skinny stature, be able to lift heavy guns which were able to leave holes inside the stomach of victims?

How could Fineman fetch hundreds of pounds of gold and other utilities from Bartica, then reach the endmost part of Region 10 within a matter of hours as if he was flying a jetpack, as it would take hours for a vehicle alone to reach there in that desolate area, and Fineman was reported to have fled on foot.

ExxonMobil and the Americans want to build a Trump Tower in GT and this is where the money leads to—either the PPP or the CIA.

One of the unfortunate implied statement of the most established higher learning institution in the Caribbean, the UWI, seems to support Hindu/Indian hate. So why do I say that? Because it has promoted Kean Gibson to a professorship even after a group including me petitioned UWI about her hateful writings about Hindus and Indians. Secondly, it bestowed Seecharan with a D.Litt in Nov 2017. Both are anti-Hindu exegetes.

The further unfortunate irony is that the Indian Diaspora Council (IDC) congratulated Prof Clem Seecharan for his award. The IDC, blissfully unaware of the denigration of them by Seecharan, are like the locust while feeding on crops, is simultaneously being eaten by the praying (preying) mantis. (I first learned of this phenomenon in my primary school reader).
    http://www.thewestindianonline.com/uwi-honors-professor-clem-seecharan/

Here are a few denunciations of Indians by Seecharan:

“We [Indo Guyanese] continued to wallow in the old tales of deception, kidnapping and “a new slavery‟ [Indentureship]. They have their uses; they have become an armour of Indo-Guyanese identity – the badge of suffering to rival African enslavement…”

“Their [Caribbean Brahmins] superiority complex [derived from invading Aryans] transmuted their fear of contamination by dark, lower caste people onto black people, Africans. In the Brahmin’s imagination, beef-eating, black Africans were relegated beyond the pale, to the profane space formerly reserved for Chamars, Doms, Dusads, Dhobis and Bhangis – the untouchables in North Indian villages.”
“The Brahmin’s fear of pollution by the “negro‟ became universal, a reflex among most Indians, including Muslims and converts to Christianity.”

Then, Seecharan gets even more inflammatory:

“But of no less significance was that definition by all Indo-Guyanese, of Africans as “the other‟ in a comprehensive social sense: not merely political and economic rivals towards the end of Empire, but even more fundamentally as the “chamar‟, the ultimate outcaste.”

“African Guyanese were now not only relegated beyond the pale, but Indo-Guyanese identity itself was achieved and sustained primarily by a continual instrumental self-definition against a constant counterpoint – the perception of African Guyanese as “the other‟, the source of potential violence and profanation. It is arguable that there is a residual caste-based foundation to it.”

He then slams Hindus for having no identity until ‘another’ ethnic group appears in the same space.

“In his study of Hindu-Muslim riots in Hyderabad, India, The Colours of Violence (1996), Sudhir Kakar observes that one of the Hindu groups, the Pardis, a former nomadic, hunting group of low ritual status, seem to need Muslims as “the other‟ before they can arrive at “self-identification‟ as Hindus. Moreover, he [Kakar] adds: “It seems a Hindu is born only when a Muslim enters. Hindus cannot think of themselves as such without a simultaneous awareness of the Muslim’s presence”.

Furthermore, despite claiming they have no independent identity he traces Hindus’ identity to the Central Asian invading “Aryans”:

“Sudhir Kakar has traced the origins of the notion of untouchability that was created by the so-called high caste Aryans, people of a light complexion generally: the Brahmins, Kshatriyas and Vaishyas, the top varnas (meaning colour) in the Hindu hierarchy. BELIEVED TO BE DESCENDED FROM THE FOREIGN INVADERS OF INDIA IN ANCIENT TIMES, they sought to distance themselves from the masses of dark Dravidians and the Adivasis, the tribals, the original people of India, very black with curly hair, perceived as more akin to Africans physically. The dark people, therefore, were relegated to menial tasks by their light or white conquerors, armed with the power to define: the so-called dark or black untouchables were generally toilet cleaners, “carrying buckets of night soil on their heads‟: human scavengers.”

All of these, including a critique of psychotherapist, Kakar’s, book and his false thesis, are contained in Seccharan’s 2014 speech In Georgetown, Gy.

My book takes on Seecharan on all of these astounding misrepresentation and inflammatory lies about Hindus. Once AIT (the fictitious Aryan Invasion of India) is shown to be false all these claims fall into the trash-can and show Prof Seecharan who he really is: a ‘false prophet’.

One critical word needs to be demystified: the “ARYAN”

The word ARYA (without the N) appears in the Vedic-Hindu seminal texts, esp the Rig Veda. But since the AIT proponents claim the Vedas were composed by the so-called invading “Aryans” the term became a supremacist word – which is why the Nazis appropriated it. It also must be mentioned that the development of Sanskrit is also credited to these (mythical) invaders, which is why anti-Hindu USA Ivy league professors, such as Stephen Pollock, claim Sanskrit is an oppressor language.

Any Sanskrit scholar will tell you that the word ARYA (without the N) simply means “noble” in behaviour, culture, tastes and in all the elevated human assets which good people aspire to. But the westernized “N” was added by the AIT proponents to ARYA and it then became associated to oppressors/oppression.

Once again, once people become informed that there is NO scintilla of evidence to support AIT the whole anti-Hindu narrative falls apart. But the pushback is very powerful, from the opponents in high places – academia, the Indian Marxists, Muslims out to split India again, and the monied Christian Churches aided by the anti-Modi/Hindu secularists. Many of these people have made their careers on AIT and would do everything to muddy the waters to keep AIT alive. Even with genetic evidence, some are equivocating on the results to keep the AIT status quo in place. Locally, even the Seecharans and Gibsons wouldn’t want the AIT to fail because their careers too will plummet.

I mentioned in my last posting that Eusi Kwayana writes in “The Morning After”, that one PNC candidate ( later killed) called for the boycott of Indian businesses; and that when their [Afro-Guyanese] “revolution” against the PPP was over Indians would be made non-citizens. The name of that person was Ronald Waddell, considered by some in Guyana as a martyr. Freddie Kissoon, for example, always speaks well of him. Perhaps Kissoon feels he is the only Indian who deserves full citizenship in Guyana. All other Indians Waddell regarded as “economic migrants” and thus not qualified to be citizens.

Now, about UWI coddling Hindu/Indian detractors. The unfortunate implied statements of the most established higher learning institution in the Caribbean, the UWI, seem to support two academics who display Hindu/Indian hate. So, why do I make this indictment? Because UWI has promoted Dr. Kean Gibson to a professorship even after a group including myself petitioned UWI about her hateful writings about Hindus/Indians. As well, the Ethnic Relations Commission (ERC) of Guyana in December 2006, condemned her writings for being unscientific in their assessment of Hinduism and were designed to spread hate of Hindus. Secondly, UWI bestowed Seecharan with a D.Litt in Nov 2017. Both are anti-Hindu exegetes.

The further unfortunate irony is that the Indian Diaspora Council (IDC) congratulated Prof Clem Seecharan for his award. http://www.thewestindianonline.com/uwi-honors-professor-clem-seecharan/

Here are a few denunciations of Hindus/Indians by Gibson and Seecharan:

First, Gibson: As recently as May 12 this year, Dr. Gibson wrote: “I would argue that the PPP’s tolerance of corruption is motivated by religious [viz. Hinduism] beliefs” (Stabroek News, May 12/19); and, “I have come to this conclusion based on a study of the Hindu religion and an analysis of the impact of the Hindu religion on the PPP as set out in my book, Sacred Duty: Hinduism and Violence in Guyana. An example of this is the pejorative reference to anything black in the Hindu scriptures.”

I sent a letter rebutting her views but not SN, nor any of the major papers in Guyana saw it fit to publish the rebuttal. Goes to show where their loyalties lie.

The reader ought to know that there is NOTHING in the “Hindu scripture” that deals with Black. The closest association to this colour is in dealing with ‘dark clouds’, i.e., rain clouds. All throughout Gibson’s two books on Hinduism, along with articles and at least one TV appearance broadcast in the USA she has vilified Hindus.

So much for Gibson. I will now move to Clem Seecharan, as he has a more established Caribbean and British profile.

Excerpts from his 2014 Georgetown lecture:
“We [Indo Guyanese] continued to wallow in the old tales of deception, kidnapping and “a new slavery‟ [Indentureship]. They have their uses; they have become an armour of Indo-Guyanese identity – the badge of suffering to rival African enslavement…”

“Their [Caribbean Brahmins] superiority complex [derived from invading Aryans] transmuted their fear of contamination by dark, lower caste people onto black people, Africans.
