    Beautiful Place Names: I know we Guyanese did not give the places their names – Usually an immigrant giving the name of his place of birth or place of origin.

    The one complaint is the names are usually mispronounced. The Dutch name or German name or French name …. Certainly don’t sound like they are supposed to sound, when you are in Guyana.

    Don’t shoot, please…… I think the Government should have a competition to rename the seawall road to the highest bidder [GUYANESE], and placing some California palm trees along the route as part of the deal, I know “Roger Khans” should not be allowed, to bid, OK
