Those connected to government and organised crime will always have money fi spend.

Oil money will only enrich the political and elite classes. End of story!

“Farming is still lucrative, but many young people saw it as playing in the mud. They could not bear to soil their skins – but those who do, live comfortably. Increasingly, they are the people who produce things that are in demand”
So important, during the hard times, people were still able to pick up many items in the market at reasonable prices.
In the islands especially Trinidad they are trying to get serious agriculture going, in these cases the first paragraph comes to the forefront, and their programs will more likely fail, farming can be lucrative, but you have to put in the sweat, the younger generation, only sweat for fun.
Conclusion, some of the oil money must be used to improve and expand the Agriculture Sector, it’s use will outlive the oil, which always seem to run out all around the world.
