This whole BREXIT-thing stems from one thing in my humble opinion, for the first time in their history, the Brits found themselves in the role of a colony and of course they hated it.

Is UK a colony of EU ?
Is UK an independent state in the EU ?

Is UK a colony of USA ?
Is UK an independent state ?

Given the choice of “independence” or
“Interdependence” what would anyone choose ?

The people of UK has spoken in a referendum
on 23 June 2016. They chose independence from EU. Deal or no deal or good deal or bad deal is still some sort of deal…is the red herring …UK has never considered themselves Europeans if anything more American than European. Post WW1+2.

After this fiasco is over UK will be able to trade
with ROW on WTO rules like any other trading
nation. That’s what the referendum means to the British people….sometimes referred to as a nation of “shop keepers” !

For UK citizens it’s not “independance” per se
it’s independance to trade with ROW without any protectionist tax tariffs or quota

    My two cent
