Donald Trump fired a volley of insults at Senator Elizabeth Warren on Tuesday morning, 24 hours after she publicly released the results of a DNA test intended to prove her Native American ancestry.

Canada has become the second country after Uruguay to legalise possession and use of recreational cannabis.

The nationwide market for cannabis opened on Wednesday at midnight amid lingering questions about the impact on health, the law and public safety.

Information has been sent to 15m households about the new laws and public awareness campaigns.  But there remain concerns, including about the readiness for police forces to tackle drug impaired driving.

First legal “weed” sold in Canada at Newfoundland shops

The first legal recreational cannabis has officially been sold in Canada.

In Newfoundland and parts of Labrador, which has a separate timezone from the rest of Canada, midnight comes earlier, and people were ready and waiting for marijuana to be sold to them over the counter.
