Economic war, sabotage, low oil prices, international sanctions, and political violence. Any president prior to the arrival of Hugo Chávez to the Miraflores Presidential Palace would have succumbed in just a few days faced with an attack such as that experienced by the government of Nicolás Maduro.

However, the Venezuelan people are still standing and supporting the leaders of the Bolivarian Revolution. How can this heroic resistance be explained?

The Bolivarian Comandante changed the history of his country forever. Chavista forces now have his legacy and the strategic project he designed for Venezuela as one of their main tools to plan the nation’s present and future.

Forecasters Predict Near-Normal or Above-Normal Activity this Hurricane Season

FLORIDA, United States, Wednesday May 30, 2018 – The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Climate Prediction Center is forecasting a 75 per cent chance that the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season, which begins on Friday, will be near- or above-normal.

They also predict a 35 per cent chance of an above-normal season, a 40 per cent chance of a near-normal season, and a 25 per cent chance of a below-normal season for the upcoming hurricane season, which extends from June 1 to November 30.

GEORGETOWN, Guyana — Canada’s second largest airline, Westjet, said that it has “no plans to operate to Guyana,” and distanced itself from a statement made by Wesley Kirton, director of the Roraima Group of Companies, at the Caribbean Aviation Handlers Association (CAHA) symposium in Guyana recently that the airline is looking to enter the Guyana market.        Continue reading
