Is the iconic Georgetown City Hall destined to disappear? – by Francis Quamina Farrier

Recently, while going past the City Hall on the Avenue of the Republic in Georgetown, someone called my attention to a chunk of the building which had fallen off. Absolutely; a portion of about three feet was lying on the ground where it had fallen off.

No one at City Hall thought it prudent to have it removed immediately. It was there for how long, I do not know, advertising to the public that the end of this iconic building is fast approaching.     Continue reading
