Trump’s inaugural speech was strikingly radical

President Donald Trump

Memorable inaugural addresses come during a time of crisis. President Trump brought his own crisis with him. Rather than calm the waters, he decided to stir them further.

Trump delivered the speech forcefully. He displayed less preening narcissism than we have come to expect (though there was no nod to humility, either). It was populist rather than conservative. We heard no rote denunciations of big government. He spoke with passion about building infrastructure, a genuine national goal. The writing was blunt and clean. Mostly it sounded like an amped-up stump speech.   [Read more]

“Allegations of plagiarism are not new in Trump’s nascent administration.”

“Trump won because he tapped into the anger of many voters”. Oh yeh!
Please!!!!!!!!!!!! “Mr Intellect”, don’t insult the intelligence of the overworked, overlooked and least paid workers of America. This election was a win for the working class. The power of the Democratic Party, Powerhouse Media and wealthy Hollywood elites, were no match for the silent few.
So, Please don’t burden America with your DOOM. Furthermore, President Obama has implemented durable policies over the years that will withstand and outlast President Trump’s time in office. Notably, China’s 2014 climate change deal is certainly one of President Obama’s great diplomatic achievements, which Trump will have problem undoing even if he tried.

Least we forget, President Reagan was one of America’s beloved Presidents who favored the wealthy and passed the burden of taxes on to everyone else.
