Once again The Health & Education Relief Organization for Cancer (HEROC) will be hosting our Annual Holiday Breakfast/Brunch on January 8th, 2017  Please see the attached flyer.

For the past three years we have been building and gearing up for our Mission Trip to Guyana which was just completed in November 5th, 2016.  It is now our desire to return to our homeland every year in October during Cancer Awareness month to continue our work.  After a very successful trip, it is our desire to grow each year and your continued support will allow us to meet our goals.

Please come out and support our Holiday Breakfast/Brunch and help us at this very motivational fund raiser event.

Suriname’s President Desi Bouterse arrived in Guyana Friday morning for a one-day official visit.He disembarked the plane at the Ogle International Airport in a drizzle and was immediately greeted by President David Granger and Foreign Affairs Minister, Carl Greenidge.

Bouterse, a former army sergeant, inspected a Guard of Honour. He and his Guyanese counterpart stood on the saluting dais while the national anthems of the two countries were played by the Guyana Defence Force’s band.         Continue reading →
