The people of Guyana are well versed in the use of racism to divide and conquer. We also know its power and long-lasting effects.

Here is Tim Wise telling it, again – some people ask if we think Donald Trump is racist – We don’t know, we know his policies are racist – institutionally racist…

It is like asking a drug dealer if he uses his own stuff – We don’t know – We know we don’t like what he selling, Wise says.

The real racists are the Democrats, from Lyndon Johnson, to Obama. Don’t forget, that it was Johnson who remarked; “give a Negra 200 dollars, and he will vote for you for two hundred years”; the Clintons, including the remarkable , disgraceful, crooked Hillary, who referred to Blacks as “super predators”, and opened abortion clinics in Black areas for the purpose as they said’ of doing away with Black youth before they can see the light of day; to the soon to be relegated Obama, who recently said to Black people, among many other pronouncements, that if Blacks don’t vote for him , he would be strongly offended as he is black and his legacy (?) would be destroyed. WOW. Don’t ever forget, that it was the Republican party that brought an end to slavery. Thank goodness many Blacks are indeed starting to see the light of day, and are gravitating towards TRUMP, and the Republicans.

  • Clyde Duncan  On 10/01/2016 at 2:12 pm

The Republican-Tea Party of Donald J Trump today is NOT the Republican Party of Abraham Lincoln who brought an end to slavery – most people have forgotten – or never knew – that Abraham Lincoln was murdered by the white racists before they implemented the “Southern Strategy” to attract the white southern racists from the Democrats to the Republican Party …..

Check out Lee Atwater saying you can’t say nigger – nigger – nigger, no mo’, or there would be a backlash – but you could say: cut taxes – repeal the Affordable Care Act [Obamacare] – and say anything that affects black people, women and people of colour the most. Some white supremacists in the Republican-Tea Party absolutely refuse to properly call Latin people by their proper names – I know one guy personally – a professional person in a responsible position, at that – who was called “Speedy González” until the day he retired. The racist dunderhead at the workplace never knew his real name.

The Republican-Tea Party is a white supremacist party, representing white racists – or as they call themselves “White Nationalists” of the United States of America.

Now they have billionaire, white supremacist, dunderhead, Donald J Trump as their candidate for President of the USA and the Free World who is up in the wee hours of the morning informing us about a former Miss Universe in some fictitious sex tape – well, who tell he fo’ say, duh? – Now they found a real sex tape wid Trump in a cameo appearance – fully clothed with his little hands exposed – I digress!

The conductor of the Underground Railroad said that she freed hundreds of slaves and she could have freed hundreds more – if they knew they were slaves.

I say that you will find some non-white people and women in the Republican-Tea Party of today with what we call a colonial mentality – they do not know any better. They do not know they are rabid racists like the white men who control and lead them. It is called institutional racism.

Tim Wise was asked “Is Donald Trump racist?” – I don’t know, he said. – Donald Trump is peddling racism – institutional racism – I don’t like what he is selling.

It is like asking me if a drug dealer is an addict and if he is using his own drugs – I don’t know – I know I don’t like what he is selling.

If you tell me you are supporting Trump – I know this … by SemDem – Daily Kos

Tell me you are conservative. Tell me you are Christian. Tell me you are Republican. Tell me any of these things, and I won’t make too many assumptions about you. Sure, I may assume you go to church every Sunday, eat red meat, and get most of your news from Fox and Friends, but beyond that, I will withhold judgment on the kind of person you are until I get to know you. In fact, as a Southern white male veteran who lives in a very rural area, most of the people in my circles are of the right-leaning variety. I can attest that most people are fairly decent when you get to know them.

This equation changes when you tell me unequivocally that you are voting for Trump. Instantly, I know there are certain things about you and your character that I can assume that I wouldn’t if you told me you supported any other GOP candidate. Ain’t none of them good.

Tell me you are a strong Trump supporter, then you are telling me:

    1. YOU WANT TO BE RULED, not governed.

The single trait that predicts the Trump supporter has nothing to do with race, income, or education. A researcher at the University of Massachusetts found that the top predictor of whether a voter supports Trump is his or her proclivity towards authoritarianism.

Authoritarians obey. They rally to and follow strong leaders. And they respond aggressively to outsiders, especially when they feel threatened. From pledging to “make America great again” by building a wall on the border to promising to close mosques and ban Muslims from visiting the United States, Trump is playing directly to authoritarian inclinations. – YOUR COLONIAL MENTALITY.

So spare me your lectures about market freedoms or any constitutional rights you claim to hold dear. You want a dictator in the style of Putin, which pretty much makes you anti-American.

Seriously. You don’t. I’m sorry. I tried to revisit this one several times but I don’t know how to sugar-coat it.

It is NOT OKAY that Trump mocked a disabled person. If Hillary did that, it would be a deal-breaker for me. I’d go third-party, or write in my own name. I have standards. You apparently don’t. Some people try to justify this by saying Trump didn’t really do it. Except he really did, and it was awful.

No one even tries to defend Donald Trump mocking POWs, because he said it loud and clear: “I like people who weren’t captured”. It was that insult to John McCain that I thought would have killed his chances within the GOP ranks, since they claim to be pro-veteran. I grossly overestimated their character. By the time we get around to the part about Trump lusting after his own damn daughter or justifying statutory rape, I have already given up on you as a decent person.

And please. Don’t tell me that you didn’t know about any of this. You know. You just don’t care. Hence, my statement that YOU DON’T HAVE CLASS.

Yes, all politicians lie, but Trump is obscene with his falsehoods. He says whatever he feels like to whatever crowd he is speaking to, and then will deny ever saying it. I am not okay with someone who lies to me constantly. If you are, I have to wonder: would you fudge the numbers? If you caught someone on your team doing something unethical, would you be okay with that?

I already know that integrity is not high on your list. Furthermore, you clearly have no trouble with someone who has a long history of fraudulent business practices. Having a bumper sticker on your truck for any other conservative wouldn’t be a problem for me—but Trump?

You might do good work, but this is a risk I would not take.

Trump threw out all the dog whistles and fully embraced the alt-right movement.

He led the campaign to de-legitimize Obama’s presidency. He constantly complains that black Americans are violent and stated that Mexican immigrants bring “crime” and are “rapists.” He demanded that any judge who tries him be white!

He retweets from handles like “@WhiteGenocideTM,” and goes to anti-Semitic websites for material to attack his opponents.

Your embrace of this kind of hate makes me wonder what things you say about my family behind my back. Going back to #3, if I was to hire you, you would be expected to work with people who don’t share your ethnic background or religion, and that might be a problem. Which brings me to #5.

Trump has brought a level of vulgarity that we have never before seen in national politics. From his attack on Megyn Kelly, to insulting Rosie O’Donnell twice in national debates, to bragging about his genitalia on television in front of millions, to his suggestion that Hillary and Carly Fiorina are too ugly to be president.

Anyone who supports a man who doesn’t think twice about calling women “pigs” or “dogs” is not someone I want to deal with.

I can say in all honesty that if it was the Democratic candidate who kept bragging about his sexual dominance and ranked all women he met by their looks, that person would not get my vote. I don’t give a damn who I think he might put on the Supreme Court. (And frankly, I wouldn’t trust him even if he claimed to share my party.) You see, I have children. I can’t very well raise them with a message of self-respect and decency if I overthrow my principles just because he decided to put a “D” after his name. Demanding that a man treat women with a basic level of respect is a pretty low bar. I have a problem with someone who can’t even meet that, along with this person’s supporters.

Sure, tell me you are. But if you read Scripture, it’s pretty clear on this. (Or if you can’t be bothered, there’s always YouTube). Trump, a man who refuses the fundamental tenet of asking God’s forgiveness, is the anti-thesis for everything Christianity is. As Christian author Philip Yancey says:

I am staggered that so many conservative or evangelical Christians would see a man who is a bully, who made his money by casinos, who has had several wives and several affairs – that they would somehow paint him as a hero, as someone that we could stand behind.

And now you find out that Trump, the top of the GOP ticket, sent you instructions at 3am to go watch a sex tape with a former Miss Universe who insulted him.

And no, of course THERE IS NO SEX TAPE. He lied about that too. (As it turns out, there was a sex tape that was uncovered, but it was a 2000 Playboy soft-core porn that starred Donald Trump!) Your candidate with small hands.

For eight years I have listened to your rabid rantings on how Obama doesn’t follow the Constitution. Yet you support a man who said the USA government should shut down mosques, curb our First Amendment rights, and forego due process on people he doesn’t like.

These protections are enshrined in our Bill of Rights, and you want to give them up. Trump also said he wants to end birthright citizenship, which is also in the Constitution. Maybe Mr. Khan should have made more copies for Trump’s supporters.

That’s the thing that really bothers me, though. I respect people who hold convictions, even if they are different than mine, but Trump supporters don’t really believe in anything. They are authoritarian-prone sheep who will justify anything Trump says or does.

Unfortunately, once you decide to sell your soul, there is no limit to how low you will go. Kimmel proved this in a bit that was both funny and horrible. He had someone ask Trump supporters on the street about the surprises on Trump’s fictitious tax returns. Trump supporters vigorously defended everything they thought he did–writing off his wives as entertainment expenses, buying Putin a tiger, donating large sums of money to Jared Fogle—nothing they could come up with remotely bothered any of them.

Now, I will always be nice, but I won’t respect you. How could I? Suffice it to say, if you tell me you are in the tank for Trump, please end your conversation there. I already know everything I need to know about you.

There would be no wisdom on my part to favour Mr. WISE, with a lengthy and rational response, since I do not believe he would be able to articulate its substance. I would say this though; The greatness of the “Don”, lies in the fact that he came from nowhere to usurp and expose the crooked ways of the Democratic party, and to justifiably bring their Wall St. thieves to their knees, at the same time offering the Wasteland we call the USA., some hope and “reason to be”; I would have to offer people like Wise and other likewise thinking folks, a pass .The Clintons, including the current crooked Hillary, and her impeached husband of X No. of years, are the current Bonny and Clyde of the nation. The man was and is hardly in bed with his “wife” he is probably right now prowling with a few dirty bimbos, while crooked Hillary is out with her bimbos, and at the same time gaining great pleasure in tarnishing the reputations of those unfortunate women who were raped and taken advantage of over the many years by Billy Boy; what a “stinkershit”. Lady Michelleeeeeee, was aware of the rodent nature of Hillary, when she remarked in 2007, that no woman who can’t even run her own household and “marriage”, could ever seek the presidency. WOW. I wouldn’t even reiterate the “lovely” words that Obama had for this rodent. Let me conclude with these words of advice; Americans have a clear choice; choose the crocked Hillary path, and head for the gutters, and live with the sewage rats, or take the Trump path, and experience the greatest opportunities that America has seen in more than 50 years. African Americans and Latinos don’t let this one in a lifetime opportunity pass you by, go out and vote for your own, and your children’s future. VOTE DONALD TRUMP.

Donald Trump Tax Records Obtained by The New York Times Reveal He Could Have Avoided Paying Taxes for Nearly Two Decades

By David Barstow, Susanne Craig, Russ Buettner and Megan Twohey

  • Malcolm Heydorn  On 10/02/2016 at 5:06 pm

The truth is, if he could have avoided the crooked government’s grab for money they don’t own, then he is a very brilliant man indeed, and anyone in a similar situation within the laws of the land ( as was Trump’s case), would certainly, including the rat diggers, have pursued the same lawful financial avenues. It is indeed someone with his brains and astuteness, that America is in dire need of. Praise be to Trump. WOW. By the way did Hillary and Billy Boy pay their fair share of taxes, from the stolen money in their “Foundation? We’ll soon hear about that, particularly when word now has it, that he built an exquisite eleven(11) million dollars apartment within the Foundation’s building from the Foundation’s illicit coffers, to hold his lavish sex parties with the Democratic BIMBOS AND PROSTITUTES. Man, this man’s ‘Wick” never tires. Of course, crooked Hillary will also occupy an adjacent room for her bimbos and continue to tarnish the reputations of those he rapes.

A typical “colonial mentality” on steroids at work: Pure unadulterated self-hate spewing the full-spectrum bile and hate:

Racism; Islamophobia; Xenophobia; Misogyny; Anti-Semitism and more … the backra-man sure did a number on this fool. If he sticks around, we will get more of the same on this forum – that is what the Trump-cult is preaching and it favours this unstable dunce.

    • Malcolm Heydorn  On 10/03/2016 at 9:41 am

I take the phrase “unstable dunce”, as a compliment. Look in your mirror at yourself, and if you have the intellect, you might even be capable of determining how you look.

Donald Trump’s Companies Have Declared Bankruptcy More Than 4-Times

    by Linda Qiu – Politifact

Hillary Clinton mocked Donald Trump’s business failings in a major speech arguing that the presumptive Republican nominee would be disastrous for the economy.

“He’s written a lot of books about business. They all seem to end at Chapter 11,” Clinton quipped, adding. “He bankrupted his companies not once, not twice, but four times.”

We rated a similarly worded claim from Trump’s former primary rival Carly Fiorina Mostly True, because it’s not accurate to say Trump is solely to blame. (For the record, Trump doesn’t deny the charge and instead argues it was a smart business decision.)

At the time, we found four bankruptcies, but since then, we’ve found two more for a total of six. So Clinton was right that Trump bankrupted companies four times, and she could have offered a higher count as well.

Let’s go through them one by one:

Bankruptcy No. 1: The Trump Taj Mahal, 1991

Trump’s first bankruptcy may have hit the businessman, personally, the hardest, according to news reports.

He funded the construction of the $1 billion Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, N.J., which opened in 1990, primarily with junk bonds at a whopping 14 percent interest. A year later, the casino was nearly $3 billion in debt, while Trump had racked up nearly $900 million in personal liabilities. So Trump decided to file for Chapter 11 reorganization, according to the New York Times.

As a result, Trump gave up half his personal stake in the casino and sold his yacht and airline, according to the Washington Post.

Bankruptcy No. 2: Trump Castle, 1992

Within a year of his first Chapter 11 filing, Trump found himself in bankruptcy court again for Trump Castle, which opened in 1985. It was his “weakest gambling hall,” according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, and ironically faced competition from Trump Taj Mahal. In March 1992, the Castle filed a pre-packaged bankruptcy plan, and Trump gave up his 50 percent share in the casino for lower interest rates on $338 million worth of bonds.

Bankruptcy No. 3: Trump Plaza and Casino, 1992

The Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, which opened in 1984, declared bankruptcy at the same time as the Castle. A $210 million joint project of Trump’s and Harrah’s, the casino had racked up $250 million in debt by 1992, after a staggering 80 percent decline in cash flow. So Trump Plaza filed for pre-packaged bankruptcy that spring as well.

Bankruptcy No. 4: Plaza Hotel, 1992

Later that year, Trump filed bankruptcy on another Plaza, this one in New York. Trump purchased the Plaza Hotel in Midtown Manhattan for $390 million in 1988, but it accumulated more than $550 million in debt by 1992. In December 1992, Trump relinquished a 49 percent stake in the Plaza to a total of six lenders, according to ABC News. Trump remained the hotel’s CEO, but it was merely a gesture; he didn’t earn a salary and had no say in the hotel’s day-to-day operations, according to the New York Times.

Bankruptcy No. 5: Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts, 2004

Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts filed for bankruptcy again in 2004 when his casinos — including the Trump Taj Mahal, Trump Marina and Trump Plaza casinos in Atlantic City, and a riverboat casino in Indiana — had accrued an estimated $1.8 billion in debt, according to the Associated Press. Trump agreed to reduce his share in the company from 47 percent to 27 percent in a restructuring plan, but he was still the company’s largest single shareholder and remained in charge of its operations. Trump told the Associated Press at the time that the company represented less than 1 percent of his net worth.

Bankruptcy No. 6: Trump Entertainment Resorts, 2009

Trump Entertainment Resorts — formerly Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts — was hit hard by the 2008 economic recession and missed a $53.1 million bond interest payment in December 2008, according to ABC News. It declared Chapter 11 in February 2009. After debating with the company’s board of directors, Trump resigned as the company’s chairman and had his corporate stake in the company reduced to 10 percent. The company continued to use Trump’s name in licensing.

    Whose fault is it anyways?

Experts told us during the primary season Trump alone didn’t cause the bankruptcies. While six in 25 years is a lot, five were tied to a struggling gaming industry.

Trump was acting, they said, as any investor would. Investors often own many non-integrated companies, which they fund by taking on debt, and some of them inevitably file for bankruptcy, Adam Levitin, a law professor at Georgetown University, previously told us.

He added that people typically wouldn’t personally blame former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney or investor Warren Buffett for individual failures within their investment companies, Bain Capital and Berkshire Hathaway, respectively.

“The only difference is that Trump puts his name on his companies, which means people associate them with him, but he’s not at all the leader in the bankruptcy space,” Levitin said.

    Our ruling:

Clinton said, Trump has “bankrupted his companies not once, not twice but four times.”

Trump has actually filed Chapter 11 six times, four times within two years in the 1990s, once more in 2004 and once more in 2009. But experts told us Trump shouldn’t bear all the responsibility, as Clinton’s wording suggests, as the majority of bankruptcies happened as the overall casino industry struggled.

We rate her claim Mostly True.

    • Malcolm Heydorn  On 10/03/2016 at 9:28 am

The verbiage that this woman has put out clearly shows that Donald Trump was and is a very wise businessman. At the present he is worth billions. The USA under that stupid goat Obama, is seen the world over as the “shitbox” of the Major powers, and the assholes who see him as their god have nothing to offer this world, but their verbal shit that they delight in exuding from their pathetic minds. After all is said and done, they will rise no higher than the depths of the toilet after a flush; have a good rot, rats.

  • Clyde Duncan  On 10/03/2016 at 1:49 pm

How do you lose nearly a billion dollars in a year?

Could you lose a billion dollars in a year?

That’s 3 million dollars a day. But we are not as good at losing as Trump is.

He’s really, really good at it.

It takes genius to do dat!!

This one-man wrecking crew wants to move into the White House to put his little hands on the nuclear button

    – Famous Last Words: “What is dat for?” – Before he pushes it!!

And what about the “New York State Cease and Desist Order” ??

The New York attorney general’s office has served Donald Trump’s charitable foundation with a cease and desist order, ordering it to stop raising money in the state because it does not have the proper certification.

The order obtained by NBC News on Monday also asks the Donald J. Trump Foundation to send any delinquent financial reports to Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s office within 15 days. The order is dated Sept. 30.

Schneiderman’s office opened a probe into the Republican presidential candidate’s foundation last month as multiple Washington Post reports raised questions about its use of funds.

The newspaper first reported that the foundation, which has raised money from donors outside the Trump family for years, did not have the certification to do so.

It also found that Donald J Trump used the foundation’s money to settle legal disputes for his for-profit businesses and buy paintings of himself.

The foregoing is Daily Kos and NBC reporting.

    • Malcolm Heydorn  On 10/03/2016 at 8:25 pm

The Daily Kos, NBC, CNN, ABC, New York Times, etc., are all villainous media in the Hillary “cesspit” No amount of effort on their part, could bring Trump down. The average voter is aware of their criminal tactics; we’ll see how many of these scrummy “news organizations” survive after the Trump Victory. Tomorrow is a big day, and the evidence that the “Justice Dept.”. and the FBI were in collusion in the crocked Hillary e-mail saga, and the hammering of the “servers, could be revealed. By the way Billy boy has just stated that Obama Care was crazy .Man. which democratic is not in need of psychotherapy. My colonial education once taught me that “twirly and twisty” were two screws. Could they be the Clintons, or the Obamas? : take your choice. We’ll soon hear about the Clinton Foundation or better still the Bank of Arabia, and their criminal activities. I hear that many demos. have got shares in it, and before its collapse, they want out.

Donald Trump has just come off the worst week in modern political history — almost all of it self-inflicted. And what’s shocking about it is that nearly every individual part of it would have been campaign-ending in any other election, for any other candidate.

It started with a predictably terrible debate performance. This itself is not unusual or even unexpected; it seems the Trump campaign was being sincere when they claimed their candidate was not preparing for the debate, and so Trump came out onstage and happily proceeded to spend the evening being the worst version of himself, simultaneously belligerent and hopelessly uninformed.

Clinton was easily able to get under his skin — and did so to the point that her reference to a former Miss Universe that Trump had demeaned became, for Trump, his own dominant campaign theme for the next week.

By Friday, the Republican nominee for the presidency of the United States was on wee-hours-of-the-morning Twitter to instruct Americans to “check out” her “sex tape.”

    That was just the beginning.

    • The New York Times was sent partial 1995 tax returns for Donald Trump showing that he had claimed nearly a billion dollars in business losses that year — a loss which probably reduced Trump’s federal tax bill to zero for nearly every year since.

    • It was discovered that Trump’s company launched an effort to explore business opportunities in Cuba, in violation of U.S. laws supporting the Cuba embargo.

    • It was discovered that Trump’s charitable foundation, already under scrutiny for using donor money to purchase items seemingly meant for Trump personally, had never obtained the proper state license for soliciting charitable donations. By this Monday, the New York attorney general’s office sent a cease and desist order requiring the foundation to stop all such solicitation efforts.

    • It was discovered that Trump did business with an Iranian bank U.S.A. officials have charged with having ties to terrorism.

    • Reports resurfaced of Trump’s loathsome treatment of female employees in his companies, including a lawsuit alleging he demanded women he deemed not attractive enough be fired and replaced with women who were. A new Associated Press report detailed equally grotesque behaviour during Trump’s filming of The Apprentice.

    • Papers across the nation broke against their own historical leanings to deny Trump their endorsements, including USA Today’s decision to weigh in on the presidential race for the first time in their history, in an editorial that called Trump unfit for office of USA President.

Trump’s response to his own poor debate performance, as well as to the tax revelations, has been extraordinarily unhinged. A surrogate could make excuses for past business dealings; but it is impossible to dismiss the candidate’s toxic rantings while he continues to ramp up those rantings by saying things that are even worse.

In addition to telling the American citizenry to check out a detractor’s “sex tape,” by Saturday night’s stump speech he launched into a mocking parody of his opponent’s bout with pneumonia, the declaration that “she could actually be crazy” and the accusation that “I don’t even think she’s loyal to Bill, if you want to know the truth.” It was an effort that had political observers bewildered and all-but-openly questioning the man’s sanity.

As if that were not enough, he also came forward with angry hints that he may or may not accept the results of the November election at all.

His surrogates have done him no favours. In response to reports of Trump’s billion-dollar business loss, campaign hangers-on Rudy Giuliani and Chris Christie both called him a “genius” for being able to reduce his tax burden so substantially.

Repeatedly surrogates have intoned that references to Trump’s past sexism will now be met with references to Bill Clinton’s infidelities. And today the Republican Party approvingly tweeted out a report that they would be launching a “Willie Horton-Style Attack” on the Democrats, referencing a campaign commercial so race-baiting that even now it is referred to as prime example of the genre.

Of all these things, any one of about half of them could be considered campaign-ending in any other year. Other candidates have been dismembered in the press for having affairs or for tax errors involving their nannies; the Republican candidate this year is telling Americans to watch sex tapes, accusing his opponent of infidelity and has a charitable “foundation” so sketchy that it’s been given a cease and desist order for not being a licensed charity at all.

This is no longer just grading on a curve. This is LUNACY. If it were discovered that the Clinton Foundation didn’t even have the proper documents to solicit charitable contributions the sea of reporters crashing against her campaign headquarters would reach the third-floor windows.

The man has proven himself plainly unfit for the presidency in a half-dozen different ways and venues.

This is unprecedented. And it goes well beyond simply having a bad week.
    By Hunter – Daily Kos

Note: All of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s tax returns have been filed and is public knowledge. The rabid HATE [misogyny] unleashed on this honourable woman is because of her gender.-clyde

You just “hit it on the head”, she got under his skin, what else can this rodent do. She has nothing to offer, but what she has left between her legs; not even Bro. Bill seems to beacon toward it; all used up. Now, if you have some intellect left, you would reach for one of those hammers she delivered to her cronies, and apply it, not only to the rest of her servers, and the 33,000+ missing/destroyed emails, but to her head; the impact may straighten out the rodent.

“Grab the pussy, grab the pussy, grab the pussy cat”, is a well known calypso”. People from the Caribbean region jive to the beat, no problem. How come the verbiage in this calypso is considered great entertainment by those who now object toTrump’s Pussy touch. Even the crooked Clintons would jive to the beat. Now crooked Hillary has her own new email basket of double talk; one for the public, and one for “self”. What a “Penelope”, weave in the day, and unweave at night. There are probably more pussy touches to unfold. I am looking forward to them; are you?

Comparison of apples and oranges are never really worthwhile. “Double entendre” in one case and an explicit female body part in the other which Trump admits to fondle without permission. That said, one has to realise that the focus on sexuality in Afro-Caribbean music is, IMHO, unhealthy misogyny.

You had to listen to Mr. Dave Martin on this subject.
Calypso started out as a way of communicating among slaves. They sang (Spirituals) as they toiled; it brought them some relief. They discovered that they could sing to, or about each other – ‘throwing tantalize’. From the massa’s lack of reaction, they concluded that he did not understand the words. They then started to sing about him, his wife, daughter etc. I remember clearly Mr. Martin using ” …mongoose went in the white man kitchen, pick up one a dem big fat chicken …” as an example; in that year when the ‘Tradewinds’ came to Guyana; the same year when their album “Travelling” was released.
Who can deny the “Carnival Tent” is the epitome of integration at any and every level. “Yuh muddah know you in de tent, boy?” ‘Civilization’ – Tradewinds.
A couple of years earlier, there was quite a debate over “smut” in calypsoes. forget which calypsonian declared, “Smut is smut. There is no clean smut”.
I remember my father and his brother voicing their relief when the radio station (ZFY) banned the calypso “The Mule and the Donkey”. It was many years later that I listened to the whole thing – and understood why.
“Marajhin” caused a furor among the East Indian population; causing a UG Professor to do a laser-like dissection of Calypso as an art form – first.
So, if “Afro-Caribbean music is, IMHO, unhealthy misogyny.” – what about Calypso Rose?
There may be only two classifications of calypsoes – Topical and Philosophical.

You are right on my man. I can give you at least five “PUSSY” calypsoes, sung by well known calypso “artists”. Misogyny; this is a new word stunt, used by democrats as an attempt to deride Trump. The greatest misogynists are Bill and Hillary Clinton.

The Democratic party, is so corrupt that it defies verbal description. With the release of the most recent emails, not to mention the previous releases, they are now attacking the basic tenets of the Catholic Church, I wonder if these assholes realize that it’s the Catholics who have put them there, and I hope that the offended Catholics insist, that their Parish priests chastise the crooked Hillary campaign from the pulpit, and send that rodent to the sewer. CNN, that nest of corruption, must be grossly embarrassed that one of their stalwart contributors, has been a crook, in her transmission of secret information, aimed at dislodging Silly boy Sanders from any chance of winning the Democratic primaries. His supporters would be asses to support Clinton, whom the silly one has suggested that they do.

The USA., Canada, and the world, have just received an early blessed Christmas gift, in the election of Donald J. Trump to the presidency of the USA. A real President, the builder of builders, is about to move into the house that slaves built. In a matter of two months, with a new staff in the Justice Dept., as well as a revamped FBI, the SWAMP will be drained. BRAVO>>>>>>>>>>>.
