He calls for Social Cohesion

It is 1975 at Lords in London, the mecca of cricket. The air is thick with excitement. West Indies is facing Australia in the Final. It is cricket’s first World Cup and the games have captured the public’s imagination. The fans saw West Indies as they scraped by with a tantalizing win over Pakistan when there was slim hope for a victory.

The semi-final against Pakistan was nail-biting drama.  Deryck Murray and Andy Roberts clawed their way from what was almost certain defeat to an improbable victory. As the pair neared the required target not a man moved in the Caribbean.
