1. Health Ministry gets almost 11% of Budget 2016 for drastic improvements in Hospitals and services.
2. Education – Increased spending on education with better equipment and rehabilitation of schools.
3. Child Care and Protection agencies to be improved.
4. Increased Pensions for retired persons. About 50,000 to benefit…  38% increase since Government took office.  
5. Infrastructure – Roads to be improved on East Coast Demerara.  Hinterland roads to be expanded and rehabilitated.  Soesdyke -Linden Highway and Liden Kwakwani roads improvements.  new ferry vessels, improved stellings and wharves. Air Services improvements
6. Security Sectors to be improved –  more money for police, armed forces and public security. Focus on Money Laundering.
7. Regional integration– CARICOM  strengthened.
