  1. GINA logoAgriculture: Sugar production to meet and exceed its 2015 target – first time since 2004.
  2. Agriculture: Farmers must diversify – other products other than sugar and rice.
  3. Thomas Lands Georgetown  – Land transfer by previous government to Ed Ahmad done in secrecy.  Mr Ahmad now awaiting sentencing on mortgage fraud charges in the USA.
  4. Paddy farmers must use legal means to get paid by rice millers. All monies for rice shipped to Venezuela paid by Government to millers.   
  5. Local Government Minister Ronald Bulkan explains the role of Local Government to Essequibo voters.  This is their first experience in local government. Elections are planned for March 18, 2016.
  6. Traffic control as well as security  in Georgetown in focus. Businesses pleased with its effects.
