Donald TrumpPublished: August 12, 2015 | Authors: | NationofChange | Op-Ed

Donald Trump is the Republican party’s worst nightmare. But they will have to sit back and watch as Trump takes over America’s political stage all while capturing a large share of the GOP base constituency.

Republicans are in a state of shock and depression as they watch Donald Trump come barreling onto America’s political stage and steal the show. He seemingly came out of nowhere and has, in a short period of time, managed to capture a large share of the GOP base constituency. It’s Trump versus 16 lackluster, mediocre politicians and right now he is blowing them away.

Why is ‘Teflon’ Trump still so popular? (+video)

He insults Mexicans, Sen. John McCain, and women, but ‘bulletproof’ Donald Trump still tops polls. Why?
What will it take for Donald Trump to lose his Teflon coating?

When Trump called Mexican immigrants “rapists” and “criminals” in his campaign kickoff, analysts predicted his campaign would be over before it began – but he was just getting started.

When he insulted John McCain’s military record, analysts said he went too far – but he kept climbing in the polls.

Trump (Donald duck) may win Rep nomination but he certainly won’t be next pres of USA. MAVERICS makes good pacesetters but seldom win the race.
Too early for predictions…..democrats with Hilary or Bernie Sanders a better bet

USA politics is always “entertaining” for its rawness..

Trump represents a certain sector of republican voters: largely white men at the lower socio/economic level. They feel they are at the bottom because foreigners, a black president and women lib have taken away America from them, Trump will fade when he faces main stream America.

I love the author’s framing of Trump’s behaviour and popularity as a “conundrum” – it reminds me of a young Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. – when he came on the scene with his Ali Shuffle, Floating Like A Butterfly – Sting Like A Bee antics. Boxers were looking down at his feet to see what he was doing and got punched around – he kept them on their feet for entertainment value …. The Donald is toying with the competition.

I hate to admit it – But, I love how he is tearing them apart – Just like the fools deserve.

Reminds me of a friend who got a cat to cull the mouse problem in his house – this dumb cat used to go out and catch mice and bring them home to play with them – he would actually paw them and box them around until he was tired of it and leave them alone in the house – Yeah, after he was “fed up” – Dumb!!

This man, Donald Trump, has got the same pizzazz – it is called a “right-hook”!

Donald Trump represents White power – White supremacy – White privilege – White arrogance …. He is exciting to the neocon fools in the Republican-Tea Party to see this on display – he is saying the things that neocon fools are saying in the bars or over a few drinks so the next day, they had an excuse for saying it. The Donald is saying it all in an exciting way – sober, openly and defiantly!

Oh, he will change his tune once the nomination is over, they say – Really?

Like the man said: The oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class are to represent and repress them. The Donald is taking a last stand like General Custer – the Last Tantrum of a White Man at Little Bighorn.

Trump is a rich brogadacious buffoon and he’s there for the publicity. That too shall pass.
