Political postulating….waffle.
Questioning almost “condesending” “complimentary” not vigorous enough.
Seemed like a “party political broadcast”….
22 years in power 49 years independence “excuses” “excuses”…
Was falling asleep !
Sad lot !
She is obviously not the right person to defend the PPP record. She was not a member of the Administration so all she can talk about is “moving forward”. What was said of Justin Trudeau can equally be said of her ” The office of Prime Minister is not an entry-level job”
Reblogged this on rennydiokno.com.
Elisabeth Harper appears to lack the intelligence and intellectual strength, the vigor and passion to be an influential and effective Prime Minister. Obviously, she does not have the credentials of political process and experience that is required to change the political and economic landscape in Guyana. Guyana needs a dynamic, strong and powerful Prime Minister. Elisabeth Harper appears to be too complacent and one who will be dominated by the big boys if the PPP/C party wins the elections.
Deen “Elisabeth Harper appears to lack the intelligence and intellectual strength, the vigor and passion to be an influential and effective Prime Minister”
A bit of an unfair statement. One does not have to be very knowledgeable, intelligent, or an intellect to be a politician. Does Ramoutar has any of that and he is the top banana. Any good actor or soap salesman who could communicate………. with the right financial support could find a place in Congress.
Any different from Sam Hinds? She’s just doing her job.
Isn’t that the idea, Deen?
Listened to the interview for a few minutes and I feel sorry for the poor woman. She should have stayed with her 9 to 5 job. If she had spent time listening to American politicians she would have learned the art of talking much without saying anything meaningful.
Albert, just to let you know, I’m not a fan of Ramoutar, Hinds and the PPP/C party. Based on their poor performance, I’m convinced they have all done a disservice to Guyana and its people. Over the past 22 years Jagdeo, Ramoutar and the PPP//C could have done better. They allowed corruption, crime, drugs and mismanagement to get the better of them.
I stand by my statement that Elizabeth Harper does not have the credentials and political muscle to be an effective Prime Minister to wrestle and resolve all the formidable problems in Guyana.
Deen, I agree with your assessment of Elizabeth Harper’s ability as a politician and wish that you had included the current president as well. I believe that it would be a thing to behold if Guyana is saddled with the two of them trying to govern the country. I have no doubt that they would do an admirable job of running what is left of Guyana into the realms of a failed state. And even Jagdeo would not be able to help them as the people are now on to him.
