Congratulations Yvonne Jackson for your kind efforts.
    Well done.!!
May I suggest you also seek affiliation with some UK
charities in your effort as a lot of UK charitable donations
end up in recycling bins or in land fills….many UK charities
are overwhelmed by the sheer volumes of ‘fly tipping’
items left outside their retail outlets…Most of which are
not ‘saleable’ for profit. Check out googled contact them.

    You don’t ask you don’t receive !
    Good luck and well done.

Great Work. Its expensive for everyone to post a package to your state. Is there a chapter/ branch in New York? If not that should be your next step. That contact can collect and then ship a barrel to your outpost in Guyana.

Thanks Cy for posting the flyer about the shoe drive. Individuals without shoes pic were brought to light by Guyana Foundation, via the internet, thus, I felt compelled to jump in and mobilize my resources to give a pair or two shoes to the residents in Breeze point, and elsewhere who do not have shoes. A member of our group Guyana Community Outreach NFP designed the flyer, so far, I have received six bags of shoes and of course more is expected. Good work Cy.

Kiss On, thanks for taking note of the shoe drive effot, will try to get our people involve in New York, I know of a shipper but he is in Connecticut. If I can get him involve, would be a good idea. It has been my experience in the past, working with our people to be unreliable, if you are not there to do your outreach work yourself, nothing gets done, or they take away your idea and call it their own, or they do not have the same zest and interest in the project that you are interested in; however, I will try and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion.
