Thanks for posting this very insightful interview. If I got one thing out of it, it would be “compassionate listening” – it might be easier to practice than the other mantras – at least, it sounds that way. The difficulty appears to be the distractions. Clearing my mind and being “in the moment” would appear to be a tough demand.

If we take away nothing but the need for COMPASSION, we will be on the right path for a better and happier life and world.
