BRIDGETOWN, Barbados — West Indies captain Darren Sammy hit a blazing 30 not out off just nine balls to pilot the world champions team to a five-wicket win over England in the second T20 International on Tuesday March 11, 2014.
Sammy’s power-hitting came as the Windies asking rate climbed to over 10 runs per over in the final stages. They reached 155-5 off 18.5 overs in reply to England’s 152-7 off 20 overs at Kensington Oval. Continue reading
