Slingshot is one of the best calypsonion in modern times, Being a Guyanese, he likes coming home to Guyana during the Christmas and Mashramani Carnival holidays. He forms his own costume band for MASH tramping along the streets of Georgetown with his own music – some of what you hear in these Videos. Enjoy.
The culture of a Guyanese Mashramani and Christmas would certainly be incomplete without the golden touches of our own dearly beloved Slingshot. Have a great holiday season and see you again in 2013 for Mash!
