Greenidge determined to take over PNCR

Carl Greenidge

Leader of the Parliamentary Opposition Brigadier (rtd) David Granger simply has too much on his plate when it comes to A Partnership for National Unity and would not be able to effectively focus on the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR).
This is the reason former Finance Minister Carl Greenidge has not declined the nomination for Leader of the Party and will go ahead with his challenge of Granger.

Greenidge says that his decision has nothing to do with questioning Granger’s ability as a leader, but with five parties to manage under the APNU banner he (Granger) simply cannot do what is needed for the PNCR.

Mr Greenidge, a former PNC finance Minister in challenging the leadership of Grainger of the PNCR must be unwittingly seeking to walk the corridors of political powers once more. Who has submitted a plan of action for the PNCR to date. It is true that the 5 parties are engaging the attention of Mr, Granger but where is the political plan of Reform for the PNCR. Where is the debate on the same? Who will technically lead in the debate. Mr Granger must be able to fire the imagination of his supporters both in and out of the Parliament. So far the opposition has not acted with the kind of dispatch that is needed for a one majority body.
