GT LIME presents cheque to Ruimveldt Children’s Home and Care Centre
The Ruimveldt Children’s Home and Care Centre was selected as GT LIME’S Charity of Choice for our 10th Anniversary celebration this year, 2011.
This selection was based upon a report conveyed to the GT Lime Organization by Judy Harrison after her discussions with Sister Mary Peter Ngui of the St Ann’s Orphanage in Guyana who recommended the RCHCC as deserving and in need of immediate support.
From our 10th Anniversary celebration and charity drive the GT LIME community along with the bands Fuh-Fun and Triple Play collectively have made a charitable contribution of $1,200.00 in Canadian dollars ( $240.00.00 GUY). These funds were delivered to RCHCC on September 2, 2011 by Kevin Jeffrey residing in Guyana . See Picture
The GT LIME Community is pleased to recognize the following individuals for their generosity to RCHCC in this 10th Anniversary GT LIME Charity Campaign 2011:

Ingrid Veerasammy; Wayne D’Almada; Brian Irwin; Rick DaSilva; George DeSilva
TRIPLE PLAY BAND –Guyanese band based in Toronto

Conclusively, a special team has arisen to follow through with future plans regarding the needs of RCHCC to help improve the facilities and assist with ongoing necessities to provide the best possible care for the children. This “Special Team’s” plans, projects and future involvement will be tracked throughout the year on the GT LIME website, so that all those who have made this possible by their significant contributions will be able to see firsthand how their gifts will be used to enhance the lives of these children.
Thank you for helping us help to make a difference in a child’s life.
