Espn segment on book “Black Ice”, Historical book about Halafax, Nova Scotia’s (CHL) Colored Hockey League circa1895-1925. Informative and interesting.   Added on 10/05/2008.

This story and this aspect of Black history has been kept on ice, or rather, under the ice, for a long time.

It would be interesting to see how the NHL and the writers of hockey history would deal with this.
